I recently had a water leak in my slab a friend recommended *********************** who is a licensed plumber who owns MBC plumbing at ******************************************************. I contacted **************** by the way of telephone on 1028 he agreed to fix the leak for $1550 which part was cash 800 and the other was a check For $750. **************** told me that the problem was I had a circulator hooked to my hot water heater and it was causing leaks in my copper pipes. Id ask him about a tankless hot water heater and he told me he could make me a good deal on one. He would let me have it at his cost . On 10/30 23 *********************** called and told me if I could give him $2100 in cash he would go get the water heater and he would put it in so I gave him the 2100 and he came that afternoon and installed it. He was here about four hours when he finished he told me he needed $1850 cash I told him I didnt have that much cash. I wrote him a check for 1650 and I paid him 200 in cash, I understood that the 2100 was to cover the Hot Water Heater in the Insulation. I had no idea he was going to ask me for more money. I checked on how much I could purchase a Navien tankless hot water heater model NPE250S 19000BTU. I called ***** plumbing in *****. His price was 1600. For the tankless hot water heater and the vowel kit. They said the normal rate to install was anywhere from 110. To 190. A hour he was here 4 hours. The only materials used was 1 - 2x4 wood, 13 foot of clear plastic water line maybe 4 foot of PVC three elbows and 13 clamps, 6 elbows and one in line water shut off vowel.. I told him I needed receipts for the work he had done. He left without giving me a receipts. I have tried calling him. He will not answer my calls or my texts. Who operates a business that will not give you a receipt and I figure he overcharged me at least $1400, He never turned on the hot water circulator or give me the lines to flush the tank also he was supposed to cap a water line.
