March 14, 2023. Roto Rooter, Invoice number ****** , plumber was *************************, paid $256.00 to have a small pipe replaced on an outside faucet under my mobile home. I was informed it was completed and weather proofed so this would not happen again. However, Sunday April 7, 2024 when we went to turn on the faucet, water started pouring out from the exact same spot that was fixed. After removing the siding and looking underneath we found out there is no weather proofing on the pipe. I called and was informed that yes they could send someone out but it will be another $159 to diagnose the problem and parts and labor. I asked why I was being charged again for the exact same problem they fixed before. I have the invoice and have spoken to them. They did not perform the service that I paid for if the pipe they installed burst 1 year later because they did not weather proof the pipe and now they want me to repay for same service again?Business response

I spoke with *****, we are going to replace the outside faucet at no charge for the part. The original service date was 3/14/2023. We are unsure as to why the part failed but we will work with the customer to come to a mutual resolution.Customer response

I would like to say that **** arrived introduced himself and got to work right away. The repair took all of about 30 minutes. He made sure my water was turned back on and no leaks. I am very satisfied and plan to use them in the future. I paid the service and labor fees for this repair.

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. The repair has been completed to expectations and I paid service fee and labor fee. **** arrived completed the work in about 30 minutes. I will gladly use them again for their services.

Last year we were selling our house on **************** in Tulsa Oklahoma and we were told we possibly had a clog somewhere possibly under our foundation. So I called Roto router and they came out and the guy was already irritated when he got there and he ran a camera in after I told him I needed a video of it so I could show my realtor the video which he did not do and was very angry when he had to do it again and did not find a clog anywhere and told me it would take about 10 guys to come out there and anywhere from $10,000-$20,000 to get the clog undone. That's all he did and he charged us over $300 to do this. We then contacted another plumber they came out and found the clog within 5 minutes and charged us $300 to completely go under the foundation that led from our daughters bedroom to across the hall into the bathroom. I have called Roto router several times and the first time I actually talk to a manager he told me to email him which I did and showed him the receipt from them and from the other plumber and he said that he would refund our money. After that I couldn't ever get a hold of him again even though I have tried calling several times and I have emailed him several times. It's been very disappointing and such a waste of money and I would like people to know that the Roto router in Tulsa is horrible. I want our money back which is what they said they would do!Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/05/03) */ A refund check was issued and sent to the address we had on file on 3/5/2021. On 11/19/21 we canceled the check because it had not been cashed. ***** did call on 8/6/21 I returned her call on 8/9/21 and was only able to leave a voicemail. There has been no phone calls or emails since 8/9/21 from the customer regarding this issue. I will attach a copy of our original invoice that will help correct their inaccurate description of the events that lead up to them filing this complaint. On our original visit the customer was only looking for an estimate and that is what we provided along with a tv inspection of the building drain lines. A refund was issued only out of customer service as we had done the work they requested. They choose to use a different company and they completed the work for $3000 not $300. I spoke with ***** on 5/3/21 I informed her that we issued the refund and the check was not cashed. She informed me that they moved shortly after. We was not notified of this and did not have an updated address. I will be sending a refund check for the full amount to her new address as we had originally agreed. We are satisfied since they have offered to mail us a check correcting the situation. Although, when I originally called them the general manager did agree with me that the way their worker handled the work at hand was not professional. The whole reason we had them come out was to find where the leak was not just to run a camera through so I disagree with that description. Otherwise everything else has been properly taken care of and I thanked the manager for assisting me in this matter.
