They replaced a master water shutoff valve in the house, charging over $1,300 despite the technician spending only 2.5 hours. After the fact, I price-checked, which I should have done before. ****** says: "Replacing a main water shutoff valve typically costs between $375 and $600, but can vary based on location, valve type, and accessibility". This is another form of robbery. I will not use them anymore. Please, whomever reads this, do not give your business to themWilliams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

Hi Cem, First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the delayed response, and were sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. We always strive to be transparent and fair in our pricing, and we understand your concerns about the cost.Every job is different, and pricing can vary based on factors such as the condition and type of existing materials, accessibility, and the scope of the work needed. In your case, our technician replaced a non-functioning gate valve and rebuilt the water line manifold using PEX piping a more modern, durable solution along with a new ball valve shutoff and a cold-side shutoff. This type of repair involved multiple lines and materials, all of which were completed to code, tested for leaks, and backed with a 90-day warranty. That said, we never want our customers to feel blindsided. While we do our best to clearly communicate the scope and cost of work beforehand, we regret that you felt this service didnt meet your expectations. We value your feedback and will use it to improve how we explain the value behind the work we perform. If youd like to speak with someone from our team to review the work further or talk through any concerns, wed welcome the opportunity. Please feel free to reach out to our call center manager.Thank you for giving us the chance to serve you.Review fromMargaret C

Came out to patch a leak in a copper pipe that was less than a half inch big and very accessible. They wanted $389 dollars. I said no thanks. I thought this was gouging. I had to pay them $89 for a house call anyway. That is $356 an hour since he was here for 15 minutes.Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

We hate to hear that you had a negative experience with our company. We always strive to be open and honest in our communication with our customers. This is why we believe in having our plumbers give upfront pricing in writing after evaluating the situation on site, so that you know exactly what you are paying for and are not surprised by hidden costs at the end of the job. Our office staff always advise of this procedure as well as the service charge on the initial call, so that we are setting accurate expectations for our customers. We use a pre-set pricing model that is calculated using a variety of factors including the cost of materials. It is based on regional averages for our industry. We do not charge based on the length of time a job takes, but it is a factor in the cost calculation. We respect your decision and hope that you were able to get your plumbing issue resolved to your satisfaction.Review fromThomas H

We started a major master bath renovation in October of 2023, hoping to have all major construction finished before the holidays. It involved serious waterline relocation as well as main bathroom drain, sinks, and installing a new free-standing tub in a new location. All I can say is, both my wife and I are glad we chose Williams Plumbing & Drain. Other plumbing contractors were called but Williams came through with a quote on time, started on time, obtained city inspectors approval quickly and did the job right, even cleaning up after themselves nicely, within their quoted budget, all before Thanksgiving. When it comes to important plumbing, drains, waterlines, bath tub and concrete slab work, I will now always call Williams first. Williams Plumbing and Drain deserves 5-Stars and our appreciation for their work!Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

Sent a very young (plumber) out to clean sewer line. He said it was all clear, they charged $324.00 and one shower later they line was still backed up! When I called them to complain, they said they tech stated the line needed to be pressure jetted! The tech never said this to me nor gave us a invoice or any recomendations. They refused to come back and clean the line like they were paid to do. I hired a local Roto Rooter, Okmulgee,OK, who cleared the line in ten minutes and charged 1/3 the money! DO NOT use Williams Plumbing and Drain!!! I have requested a refund but have not heard a word from them! Very sorry customer service, the customer is always wrong!!Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

Hi ***** we hate to hear you are dissatisfied with the service we provided. Because price is always a concern, we did give you the price upfront over the phone when booking the job. You were advised of the cost to clear the drain as well as the drive time charge to come to Okmulgee from Tulsa. You agreed to that and even mentioned that it was about what you paid previously. Our technician may be young, but he is an experienced drain tech and worked for over two hours to clear your line. According to his notes, he was unable to warranty the work due to issues he encountered with your sewer line, including the fact that it was a line shared with other properties. He also noted that due to these issues, he recommended both a camera inspection a jetter for a more long term solution. You declined which is well within your rights. We regret that you are unhappy, but we followed all of our company policies and procedures in the work that was done and were also clear in all of our communication with you. So we will not be offering a refund.Review fromNoah D

I contacted Williams Plumbing to connect a water line to my new commerical ice machine. They charged me $89 to come have a look. The job intailed 10 ft of 3/4" flex pipe from the water meter to the ice machine and 8 ft of 3/4" flex pipe for the drain line. Williams quoted me $8,620.21. Seeming quite a bit high, I contacted another plumbing company. I hired them to do the job. $1,600.00. It pays to shop around..........Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

Since has plumbers become Dr's and only work on specific problems? So they guess and not know signs of could be? No suggestions? Just charge outrageous price fix something not broken but unable to fix the real problem. So a plumber that replaces wax/gaskets cannot unclog drain. Instead pay for him and then have another come out and pay him to fix problem. If had choice would have had the least expensive first then if had to would have the more expensive done. Oh and won't even give estimates over phone so you can shop around when all the tech did is walk in the door and gave estimate for replacingwax, gasket, hose abd reset toilet.. Not right not fair. 421.00 to pull toilet replace wax and gasket/waterline 160.00 to unclog drain was quoted. If they are bleeding you go to someone else. Plumber should have known because he commented when flushing toilet the amount of water flowing from base of toilet saying "usually just a small trickle that's a lot of water". He could have at least suggested and let me have the choice to go cheaper route first but acted like he knew nothing. I only found out it could be clogged when calling in to complain after all was tore apart and could physically see. Plumber stated it will still be 421.00 Dispatcher not a plumber also said it could be clogged or replacement of wax/gaskets. Sure didn't say that when I called for appointment I told her. 89.00 just to come out and tell me how much??? Yes extemly upset. Oh and when I asked both dispatch and tech would they have to go thru the toilet to unclog? So i could tell him to just leave unset or go ahead and reset. They didn't know but did know the one that unglogs can't reset toilet. Will have to pay for someone else to reset. So now what next plumber going to have to pull all apart and charge again to put back together? I wanted advise didn't get any.just costed a ton of money and more in order to fix.Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience you experienced during your recent service. We understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback. One of the reasons we do not give estimates over the phone is because we want to provide you with accurate pricing and cannot do so without taking a look at each specific situation. Our office staff are not licensed plumbers and are not trained to diagnose plumbing issues. To address your other concern, we have technicians who specialize in repairs and others who are experts in drains. Based on our original call with you, the information you shared indicated a repair issue so we sent a repair tech. Unfortunately, he does not carry drain equipment on his truck. Additionally, in reviewing this with our service manager, it was confirmed that the work on the toilet would have had to be done anyway, because the pressure in the line from the backup made that necessary. We regret that we were not able to reach a resolution with you on this issue. But we hope that you have been able to get your plumbing issue fixed.Review fromCharles R

Made a appointment for 9/5/2023 and they gave me a window of 8-5 which required me to take off work all day. Williams called me at 4:10 to say they will not be able to get to me cause the techs ran behind. I lost out on 8 hours of pay and still have water coming out of floor drain. This no way to do business, nobody can miss work for nothing.Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

Hi *******, We regret that we were unable to get out to your home as originally scheduled. We do our best to honor the service requests on our daily schedule but there are times where it is just not possible, such as when other jobs run long. It's discouraging to hear that you missed a whole day of work, so your frustration is certainly understandable. We do try to make a note on the service ticket if we are aware of this in advance. Once again, we do apologize for the inconvenience to you and hope that you will give us another chance to earn your business in the future. - Your Trusted PlumberReview fromMike R

Bobby at Williams tried to talk my 88 year old mother into spending over $5000 for a new water heater even thought the water heater was working great. Her only mistake was that she was turning the shower nob the wrong direction. Hot water was coming out of all the other faucets in the house and he claimed that the water was not very hot and she needed a new hot water heater. Luckily I got to my mother's house in time to hear his explanation, test the other faucets in the house and call him out on it. When Bobby realized that I was on to him, he quickly charged my mom for the service call and left the house as fast as he could. When I tried to file a complaint to Williams I was told that it is against their policy for me to file the complaint because my name is not on the account that paid the bill. Williams Plumbing lost a loyal customer. ***Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.

Hi ***, as previously stated in another forum, we regret to hear that you were unhappy with the service call at your mother's house. We have been out there many times and felt like we had established a good rapport with her. We strive to provide five star service for all of our customers and part of that service is providing multiple options and recommendations for our customer to review. Bobby did a thorough evaluation of your mother's plumbing and even ran a check on the hot water with you while you were there. He recommended replacing your mother's water heater because of its' age, but as always the final choice is up to our customer. Even if she isn't interested in those recommendations now, she will at least have an idea of the cost for future consideration. You are free to choose whatever plumbing company you prefer, but we stand by our model/process for providing five star customer service.Review fromLinda F

Frank with Williams Plumbing found the issue as water was leaking onto the bathroom floor. He also quickly repaired an outside faucet that was driving me crazy when I hooked up a water hose. I was fearful of calling any plumbing company as I had been ripped off years ago. My very dear friend recommended Williams as she reiterated I could trust them and would not be disappointed with their work. I will always reach out to Williams should I have any other incidents in the future. Frank is AWESOME!!! Williams Plumbing is blessed to have him on their team. Excellent service!!!!Williams Plumbing and Drain Service, Inc.
