    Renters Place was hired to manage a rental property we own in Tulsa. We recently found out that the utility bills on this property were not paid on time and there were several late fees, termination of service letters and some bills paid twice, as well as a required deposit of $256. All of this has occured at our expense. When Renters Place messed up and paid a bill twice it came out of our profits. First we feel that it's irresponsible to not pay the utility bills on time when the tenants are paying their rent on time. When we asked Renters Place about this they said they never got the bills therefore they were not paid. Several of the bills were paid late and some of them were paid twice. When we asked them about this they said it was a problem with their accounting department. The accounting department then said they never got the bills. Dealing with them is like going in circles. No one offers an apology or a liable explanation. How is it possible for a management company to not get the bills they need? They are getting paid to do a job and part of that job is to pay the bills on time. We have talked to them about this issue and have emailed back and forth about it. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done as we can't get our money back from the utility companies. We expect to not have to deal with Renters Place anymore. We need to terminate all business with them effective immediately at no expense to us. We have lost all trust in this company. We do not want them dealing with our tenants or our money any longer. They are irresponsible and, to an extent, fraudulent as all of this was kept from us. They have a 60 day termination of contract in place. We feel that with everything that has transpired we should not have to wait 60 days to terminate all business dealings with them and should not have to be held responsible for any fee or contract. They have failed to do their job as is supported by the utility bills we have provided to you.

    Renters Place is without a doubt the most unprofessional property managers out there. The house we moved into was a total wreck and dangerous at times. They did nothing about: failed septic tank, electrical panel needed to be replaced, no flashing around glass slider, kitchen cupboards were painted completely over everything. We couldn't open kitchen doors without pulling off the handles so we actually had to install new cupboard doors just to make it livable. They painted over nails, hooks, electrical plates, wallpaper, bugs, dirt and anything else that was in the way. I could go on and on but I need to go to Yelp. We moved out in July and have not received my security deposit back yet so I'll be going to small claims court next week.
