Our house sold, but we were misled, flat out lied to, and stolen from during our sale process. The agent had very little knowledge of how the process works, and fabricated responses to our valid questions, those responses turned out to be entirely incorrect. She was not present for any showings or inspections, and when I asked why she simply said “she didn’t have to”. She placated my every concern and they all ended up like I thought they would…..terrible for us, but great for her. Items were stolen from our home while realtors stood on our porch and let people wander unsupervised through for half hours at a time. We lost our $5k earnest money into the loan which she said we would get directly back at closing. Would have put down less had we known that….so we’d have $ for remodel. Now living in squalor until I can raise $ to fix what house we bought….which she also made $ on, but helped very little. She said we would have time after close to move out, only to tell us a week before closing that was not the case and we needed to be out the day before closing because we couldn’t go back after. I will never do business with Chinowth again, and likely sell my houses by owner so I don’t feel misled and taken advantage of and charged astronomical prices for poor service. She should really probably work at the snack bar somewhere instead of selling people’s houses.
