I went to Mary ****** to increase my google presence in searches. In my business, having your business higher in the rankings gets you more calls for business. Mary laid out a plan to do this. Her plan was inadequate and did not do what we needed. She made a website for $3934.00. I already had a good website and did not understand that is what she was doing. After launching the website, my business decreased. Mary ****** did nothing to increase my rankings in google. At this point, I told her we did not need her services and I found another company to take care of my rankings. I paid over $6137.00 to her with no increase in business and lower google rankings. After further review, Mary ****** did not do the basics to get my rankings up on google which was linking the website to be ranked. Literally the first thing that Mary should have done. It is clear that Mary and her business partners do not understand how to increase rankings. My biggest issue is that she has taken my domain and will not give the new company access to my website that I paid for (a lot of money as you can see). I want access to my website so I can have access and do what I need to do to further my business. I also would like half my money back since nothing was done to further my business. At this point, Mary ****** will not answer my calls or emails forcing me to go this route. (I never signed a contract for monthly billing)Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/21) */ I have answered his emails, advsing him of his obligations. I gave him a login to the site. That login allows the admin to update the site and add pages. He has made 1 payment for the monthly recurring. He is currently 21 days past due. At 30 days we will file in court for resolution. Mr ******* is the registered owner of the domain. He is free to utilize the resources of the Internet to take control of his domain name. I do not feel it is my responsibility to continue to work for him when he has indicated that he will not pay for existing services rendered. DYSite prepared a proposal of work which clearly states that there is a 36 month contract which pays for the balance of the website development over 36 months. He agreed and made 4 payments against the website. (see Contract Page 2 Paragrapht CMS 2.0 Professional)( The website was live for 2 months June and July of 2022; before July ended he called to state that he was cancelling his service. I advised him that he was under contract and that he could not take the site and host it elsewhere. My records show; Client choose to have a new website built. Client went thru the steps to build a website. Client made payments against a contract. Provider fulfilled all the elements of the contract. attached files 1. BBB Complaint timeline of events; show payments and intent on part of client 2. Website speed rating (this is a ranking factor) 3. Keywords ranking as of Aug 21. Prior to launch he did not even rank for his domain name 4. Keyword growth, see the chart and it shows the website is doing what it was designed to to 5. Contract for services. I have a copy on which I have written notes, including payments as we bought of milestones. To settle this account and take his website. Client needs to pay past due of $403. When I went to see Mary we talked about getting more work for my business I was doing several jobs a day sometimes I was a little slow with jobs I had serval repeat customers and other companies that I am related to giving me work I explained to Mary I wanted to double or triple my business we discussed organic advertising she told me it was all done thru google search engines and I explained to her that I new nothing about computers or how any of this worked that I new nothing about computers or emails I was trying to learn but I needed her help she said that she could do this but it would take some time After she launched my new web page my Business dropped off 90 percent I told her we needed to do something before I had to file bankruptcy I spent a lot of money to have her build a website that I dint think I needed I liked my other one better MY MISTAKE we never Discussed a 3year contract nor did I agree to one or sign one all I want is for her to give me the information so I can log into my old website she can keep her web site I feel I paid a lot of money for nothing I like Mary as a person just not as a business person I want to have any more dealings with thank you ***** I wish her the best Please close case Thank you
