My husband and I purchased a 2009 Buick Enclave in September of this year. We had the vehicle for 3 days and had to return it to him to have repairs done. He has had the car for 6 weeks and had promised this past Monday that he would have it back to us Friday November 4th, today. He now refuses to return the vehicle. We paid $1000.00 cash down payment, he sold us a lemon and he has ignored our calls and texts going days without finding out anything about our car. He promised to waive the first month payment and return the car to us today. Now he says we have to pay 2 monthly payments up front before we can pick our car up. He has lied to us several times about where the car was and what was being done to it. Now he refuses to give us our car that we already paid $1000 cash down payment on. His name is Carl and it is Condry Auto Sales Vinita, Ok

      11/23/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/09) */ Hello, we are sorry you feel this was **** ****. The vehicle you purchased from us was in good shape for the most part not including the front end alignment and rear shocks. It is however a used vehicle so with that being said problems can and will occur when purchasing a used vehicle. We had to do a front end alignment and put rear shocks on the vehicle that we were unaware of which we did fix at no cost to the customer. And we even waived the first month payment. We even offered a 2013 Dodge Dart as a loaner vehicle that the customer denied and said it was not good enough and the loaner was in perfect shape. The vehicle we sold **** was in the shop for sometime, however we are not able to control what these shops do and when they set their appointments. I was called personally 18 times on a Sunday after church and was left threats, dirty messages, and was cussed at several times after business hours. I determined due to the customers behavior and verbal violence that it was best to part ways and refund her money. The customer also screamed and verbally assaulted me and another customer November 7th on a Monday 2022. we were unable to deescalate the situation so we had to call the local police to kindly remove **** from our premises. We have done business here for many years and we have many repeat customers. It is unfortunate that we were unable to satisfy **** and we apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused her. Again we do sell used vehicles so with that being said things can and will happen sometimes after purchase, but our ultimate goal is to serve our customers best interest and to help them the best we can with what we do. We are the longest standing dealer in Vinita and there is a reason we are in still in business, but we couldn't do it without are amazing customers and repeat customers who continually choose to do business with us. **** thank you for your feed back. Whether good or negative we can look on this feedback to help prevent future issues in the future when dealing with new clientele, thank you. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/11/10) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) He has blatantly lied about certain events. I did not yell at him or his customer. I politely told the customer what our current situation was with Carl. He just continues to lie about things that happened. The Dodge Dart he offered as a loaner was NOT in perfect condition. It was filthy inside and out and when I drove it off the lot there was brake issues and I did not feel safe in that particular vehicle. He had me bring the Buick we purchased back to him because he had an appointment scheduled for repairs When I brought the vehicle to him he had not even made said appointment and wanted me to leave the Buick for a week at hos lot to sit until he could get it into the shop. He is making things up and trying to hide how he continuously ignores and avoided both mine and my husband's calls and texts. He made several promises he DID NOT keep!! It's unfortunate this happened but I will not let someone lie over and over again about me and what ACTUALLY OCCURRED!! H Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/11/11) */ To not increase conflict I will leave one more response. We were unable to please **** in our attempt to help her with her needs regarding the purchase of the 2009 Buick Enclave. We have gone above and beyond to satisfy the matter. When she purchased the vehicle like most used vehicles it was sold "AS IS" and **** was aware of this when she purchased the vehicle and signed the paperwork. We also offered her a warranty that she did not want along with the the purchase of the vehicle. And after she test drove the vehicle she was pleased with it. A few days later she wanted to get a front end alignment. In order to satisfy **** we agreed to fix it to keep good morale on behalf of my reputation and the company. Like I said in previous comments it took longer to fix than expected we don't own our own shop we are at the mercy of other mechanic shops and when they are able to schedule appointments. The Dodge dart also wasn't filthy it had been test drove a few times so it needed a minor vacuum. We did all that we could do in order to keep our reputation in good light with Mrs. ****. However, because of her actions we decided it was best for us to refund her money. She paid $1000.00 down for the vehicle and she accepted the $950.00 as refund. She agreed to let us keep $50.00 so we could file for another title seeing that the title was in her name. It will actually cost us $58.00 for a new title. And an additional $140.00 to have her vehicle detailed again. We haven't gained anything from ****. We have tried to help **** in every way, but since we were unable to satisfy her and seeing that we were left with no choice, but to call law informant due to her behavior we gave her the money back she paid us as a down payment for the car in order to satisfy our customer. We have gone above and beyond in this situation in order to satisfy her, thank you.
