July 23, 2023 the wrecker had a piece of equipment that broke while loading my truck up. My truck rolled off their bed and wrecked into a parked car in the ******* parking lot in ******* ********. The driver left the wreck before police showed up. He returned with a different truck and was mad at me for calling Police even though he damaged my property then he proceeded toload my truck up and hauled it to the destination. The wrecker service refuses to give me insurance information and refuses to rent me a vehicle for me to continue to work while my vehicle is awaiting repairs. They told me " be a big boy and take care of yourself". He denied there was any mechanical damage done and says it was only cosmetics though he admitted he hasn't even seen the truck in person. Then he tells me my truck wasn't wrecked and hangs up. This is the owner ********** spoke to.Business response

Regrettably **************************************** truck was damaged when the hook latch on the winch cable broke while loading his truck onto our flatbed tow truck. However ***************************** chose for a cash settlement instead of having any repairs, caused by this incident, fixed. ***************************** was sent a settlement check that covered all damages that were caused. Check was in an amount ***************************** agreed to, evident by the fact that he accepted and cashed this check.
As a company serving the public, we do all we can to try and eliminate incidences like this from happening. However, we also realize that some mistakes/accidents are inevitable no matter how hard we try to prevent them from happening. In the unfortunate event it does happen, as in this case, we take full responsibility and make arrangements to have the vehicle repaired, or pay for damages caused. We considered this matter closed once coming to the cash settlement agreement, dispersing the funds, and check being cashed.
