We bought a new 2022 Tex Fab 40ft flatbed trailer from silverline trailers in wagoner ok on 5/24/22. My husband was hauling a load of 5k lbs while in stop and go traffic on June 14, 2022 in Chicago, IL when he pulled off the interstate and noticed trailer wasn't pulling right. Upon inspection he found leaf spring to one axel completely off, bolt missing and tire shredded. We contacted Jake at the dealership and was going to see what they could do. After 2 hours and multiple text and calls to see what they found out we couldn't get them to respond. I finally spoke to Zach a manager there and he said they were waiting on manufacture and he wasn't sure they were able to do anything due to wear and tear on a new trailer. Jake told me that they had heard other cases like this. After lost wages for 2 full days of work problem was half fixed. My husband had to replace multiple bolts on the trailer long before losing the leaf spring bolt and leaf spring rolling underneath. The second leaf spring for the 2nd axel was almost popped out. If my husband had not been in traffic and going speed limit a major accident would have happened and even fatalities a huge possibility. We have pictures and text of communication between salesman and also of the trailer issues. Company refuses to give money back but said to bring trailer back and they will void contract. We put over 3500 down and my husband lost 4-6k on loads that got taken away since he was broke down for 2 full days. This falls under lemon law. Defective and dangerous unit. We just want to take trailer back, void contract and get our full refund! Also lug nut stud was no good when tire was being changed out. Too many issues with new trailer. We have contacted Lee ******* owner of Tex fab and he has avoided 2 calls and 2 text messages.
