Purchased a vehicle on 12/7/2024. Now 40 Days later my Trade-in vehicle still hasn't been paid off even though contract signed ( I will gladly share a copy ) states my trade in would be paid off within 7 Days of loan funding and the fact they have already sold my trade-in. Loan was funded 1 week from purchase date ( confirmed with finance company ) as they wouldn't let me take delivery of my new vehicle until it was funded. I also still have not received my title From OKC VW and the state I'm in Missouri requires all vehicles to be titled within 30 Days and all dealerships to procure a title within said 30 days. I'm now being fined by the state and paying on two vehicles that a technically do not own ( my trade in and my new vehicle.) If this is not settled quickly I will be filing a complaint with the Missouri and Oklahoma State departments and speaking with my lawyer for breach of contract.

In March 2024 we purchased a used car from this dealership. In September 2024 the car was totaled by a hail storm. We still have not received the title. Insurance will not pay out since the car is titled to OKC VW. The car loan has converted to a personal loan with high interest. There are also several thousand dollars in storage fees for the car (it has been at a repair center almost 30 days now). Originally the dealership had instructed us to do a vin inspection - a few months after we did this ourselves it took an in person visit to them to find out the tag agency had provided the wrong paper work. After some more time passed (and another in person visit) the the dealership said the title was sent to a wrong address and now they say a new one had to be requested. As of now the car is totaled, there's over $3000 in storage fees and no insurance solution for replacing it since the title is in OKC VW - even getting the title now it would be weeks to get it transferred at this point meaning more storage fees and no insurance pay out.

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your title delay.

Please note that OKCVW is not responsible for the delay in title processing. The state’s title agency has corrected the title, which was corrected and mailed to you on October 18, 2024. You should expect to receive it shortly.

Additionally, we want to clarify that OKCVW is not responsible for any storage or insurance processes nor does OKCVW participate in BBB nor should be used a negation tool.

      Best Regards.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: OKC VW refuses to take responsibility for any delay in receipt of the title.  Per the DMV the original title was not applied for by the dealership until August - 5 months after purchase.  My insurance company contacted OKC VW and was told the title was in the mail to me on Oct 21 - BUT I personally picked it up from the dealership on Oct 22.

The request I had made in person included honest and prompt communication but that was never provided.  I do believe the dealership should simply apologize for the delays they caused and take responsibility for their actions.  It is not a matter of them paying for the storage fees on the car it is a matter of even apologizing and making efforts to correct their processes to prevent other customers from dealing with these inexcusable delays.  The insurance issues are being resolved but all delays there are a direct result of the issues experienced with this dealership.

      Sincerely,

      *** *****

I bought a brand new Volkwagen Atlas Cross Sport 2024 from Oklahoma City Volkwagen on 1/31/2024, 2 weeks after I bought the car, I took to the car wash and while I'm cleaning the car I realized that the back seat in the passenger side has defects and the dashboard color is faded and the center console frame is damaged and it looks like it's a pet damage or someone cut it with a knife. I called Oklahoma city Volkwagen and talked to them about the defects and damages in my car, and they said they can't do anything about it because that's a manufacture defects. I called Volkwagen corporate and talked to the customer service agent, and she said she will escalate the case to a region case manager that will be able to contact the dealer in Oklahoma City to take care of the repairs. The region case manager contacted me on 2/22/2024 and said he will call VW Oklahoma City and they will call me to take my car and make the repairs. A week later ***** the Manager at VW Oklahoma City called and scheduled an appoitment for 3/13/2024. when I went to the delaership, they looked at the car and submitted the report to VW corporate office for the pieces that needs to be replaced, and they called me a week after I took the car and said that the corporate declined the request. I called the corporate again and asked them why they declined the request, they said that the dealership has the budget to take care of these repairs and since I bought a brand new car from them, they should replace the damaged parts. Since then I have been calling the dealership and they told me call the corporate to take care of it and the corporate is saying call the dealership to take care of it. I want the BBB to call the dealership and the corporate office to see what's going on and have one of them replace the damaged parts on my brand new car. The case number that the corporate office gave me is,Volkswagen ******** CARE Case Reference #******** Thank you,

Oklahoma City Volkswagen does not participate in BBB, nor is the platform used as a negotiation tool. Oklahoma City Volkswagen denies claims made by ***********************. Volkswagen ***** of ************* has already concluded these false claims and ruled that these items are not by manufacturer default and are not covered within warranty, as they are due to outside consumer forces. These items do not fall under the dealership's responsibility. If the consumer desires repairs, they are to be at the cost to the consumer, per Volkswagen Corp. I purchased a 2018 ************* from this dealership on January 3rd, 2024 and was not informed of the problems with the Jeep. The radio is faulty, the mileage often reads incorrectly, and there is cosmetic damage that the dealership did not include in the paperwork. It took me over a month to finally get someone to actually give me the time of day after calling up to the dealership repeatedly. Once I finally just showed up at the dealership and demanded for a manager, they informed me there was nothing they could do because they arent a Jeep dealership and to take it to another dealership and have them fix the problem. They also informed me that they could not fix the cosmetic issue because it had already been repaired, yet the crack was still present. I have read many bad reviews from this dealership and I highly regret doing business with them. They do not answer the phone.

I contacted Oklahoma City Volkswagen mid December of 2023 about leasing an electric ID4. The sales staff was courteous and responsive. I went in on December *********************************************************************************************************** *****, ** to ****, **, about ************************************************* between, so I asked if the car would make it that far, taking into account different variables that could affect range. I was told by the salesman as well as the finance person that going 120 miles would be no problem since the car should go up to 250 miles on a full charge. Even with variables, 120 miles should be no concern. A week after signing the lease, I attempted my first trip from ***** to ****. It was in the 40's that day, so I did anticipate needing to recharge while I was in ****. I was shocked and scared when I realized I would not be able to make it to ****. The car's navigation system rerouted me to *****, **, completely out of my way to get to a charging station. After contacting *** Volkswagen, they said to bring it in to determine if there was anything wrong with the car. After having it for 3 weeks, they determined nothing was wrong with it. I was then told there were probably other factors including the weather that affected the range that significantly. I was also told by the service manager that my experience is typical of the performance he sees from ID4s that come into the dealership to be serviced. I would never have signed a lease if there had been any question about my ability to get from ***** to **** on a single charge. I was told that I could and believed the staff who were supposed to be the experts. I was also told I could trade the car in by a sales manager. That offer was then rescinded. I am extremely unhappy to be tied to a 3 year lease after misleading me about the car's actual performance as well as the trade in offer being taken back. They are offering nothing to make this right.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Every word in my statement is true. I was mislead about the actual performance capabilities of the ID4 in real life conditions. *****, who works in the service department, was aware that the estimated range could be cut by more than half depending on various conditions and relayed that to me as we were trying to troubleshoot problems. Either that information didnt make it to the sales and finance staff, or they chose to keep that information from customers. Had I been told that it may not make it 120 miles on a single charge when the upper range is advertised at ******* miles, I would have chosen a different vehicle. I specifically asked about this ********************************************** between and was assured that even with weather and other variables that can diminish range, the ID4 would definitely make it. This is false information and I would like *** Volkswagen to stand on integrity, admit their misstep, and make this right for me now.

      Sincerely,

I purchased a vehicle from the dealership on August 12 of 2023. The salesman was fine. His manager was fine and the experience was pleasant. Things started to take a turn as soon as we got into finance. The first issue that we had was at as soon as I looked at the closing paperwork that the numbers were not the same as to what we had agreed to. we had to get some changes done to that, but even once that was completed, the numbers were still not adding up to what we had agreed to. After numerous reviews of the numbers, I have come to verify that the purchase price of the vehicle was manipulated to include a warranty that I did not want nor had signed up for. After calling out the finance manager, then explained why the price went up by **** and that was because of the warranty that he was including and the sales price of the car. And my past experiences any additional warranties always have a separate line item. I do not understand why it was added into the sales price of the vehicle, which therefore ended up costing me more money and sales tax. The finance manager was able to convince my wife and I the value of the warranty and we said fine leave it be. After heading home that night and reviewing the documents of the warranty it did not align with what we were told on how the warranty would cover the vehicle so therefore, I decided to cancel the warranty right away. The finance manager was willing to do so we sent over the signed documents right away. We were told we would be getting a refund of $**** for the unwanted warranty and a refund of $375 for the credit card fee that I use for my down payment. as of today I have still not received my refund of **** total and I still continue to get the runaround that the process has not come to an end. At this point I just want my refund and the ability to move on with my life. I do not feel like I get anywhere or any clear answers when we communicate with the finance manager.

Bought a car from them on August 19th, 2023. It was a 2014 Jetta TDI. When I test drove it everything seemed fine, so I agreed to purchase the vehicle. A bunch of codes come up with the *** valve, Catalytic converter. I called the dealership the next day Monday Aug. 21st, 2023 to tell them the problem. *** VW did not pay the promised amount (*****) on my trade-in lien and owes a refund of the difference between this amount used to calculate my finance charge and the actual payment (********) on the lien.To arrive at a finance amount, a dealership uses the following primary figures:-The agreed upon purchase amount of the new vehicle -Minus the offered value of the trade-in -Plus the pay-off amount of the lien For example, a purchase price of 30K on a new vehicle with a trade-in valued at 10K with a lien balance of 3K would result in a financed amount of 23K.In our case, the financed amount used a calculation of $***** on the lien which was to be paid by the dealership. This figure calculates directly into the amount I am financed (charged). The dealership DID NOT pay $*****, and instead paid $******** on the lien. This is a difference of $269.92 and I should receive a check from the dealership in this amount. The dealership managed to pay less by waiting past the 10-day payoff quote period and paid 21 days after the sale was finalized (1/17/2023). During this time, an autopayment from my account posted to the lien balance of the trade-in. In a normal scenario, the dealership would pay the agreed upon amount and the lienholder would issue the consumer (me) a refund.*** VW knowingly paid less than the promised amount and had no intention of refunding me. I called and emailed ***** in finance to explain that I was owed a refund. Unknown to me, on 2/2 a check for the wrong amount was printed. I called on 2/16 to ask about the refund and was told it would be mailed the next day but that it was for the wrong amount because of a "fee". I called the lienholder to ask if there was a fee- there is no fee. *** VW fabricated a "fee". I did not receive the check. On 3/1 I went to the dealership with supporting documents and asked for my refund. I was told to come back later and when I returned I was given the 2/2 check for the incorrect amount instead of a new check.

I apologize for the late response. My complaint ID is ********. I did receive a check for the remainder of the refund owed, but I did not hear back on:
      1. An explanation of why the refund was not initiated by the dealership.
      2. An explanation of why the refund was made for the incorrect amount.
      3. An explanation of why it took 30+ days for the refund checks to be delivered.

      Thanks for checking in.
