On June 8th Salazar roofing contracted another group of roofers to come out and replace the shingles and metal fittings on our roof that had been totaled in an April hail storm. from the outside the shingles and metal pipes and fittings look beautiful. We had some issues with the claim due to a previous wind claim, so there were two small pieces of siding and gutter that were my responsibility. However they didn't even look at any of the rest of the siding. since then I've contacted my insurance about covering the other siding, the front door and the garage door.on 7/11 we had someone come to spray the house for pests. He opened the **** closet. there is a water leak in there that was not there previously. up in the attic, we discovered that not only was the dryer vent not attached and blowing lint around the attic, we also discovered that when they replaced the galvanized pipes and fittings they also yanked the pipe that attaches to the furnace. since the pipe was no longer connected it has been spraying water into my attic when it rains. they are the only ones who have done any work on my home. they aren't even concerned about the fittings that are not the same size as the ones they replaced so they don't attach at all. today ****** scoffed and said "well i guess we can come look at your attic but its not our fault because we didn't go in your attic" the owner is pushing the issue onto a salesman or the leak was there before. there is no documentation of loose pipes or water damage from the insurance.i have not paid them for the roof due to the damage they have refused to fix. i have notified my insurance and also my mortgage company as they are also listed on the check. i offered to get it fixed and pay them less the cost of that, they told me that if anyone else does it that it voids the warranty but they won't agree to do it. at this point i wouldn't trust their repair due to the attitude i have received so far. they are asking me for $16,945.83.
