    Electrical installation of hot tub and outside light.On 9/27/2023 two employees spent a total of **** hours hooking up hot tub to a new circuit and installed a box for me to install an outside light. A remote swith was installed in the attic so that we would be able to operate the light from our bedroom. All went well except they could not get the remote switch to operate.On 10/03/2023 an employee returned and attempted to repair the switch. He thought he had it working but it failed to operate later in the day.On 10/5/2023 two employees returned and discovered that the switch had been improperly installed on 9/27. Had it been done right, neither the 10/03 or 10/05 trips would have been needed.On 11/9 1st invoice ***** for $4037.98 included item #3 for switch repair. Called them and told them I would not pay for switch repair (2nd and 3rd visits). On 11/11 2nd invoice ***** for ******* reduced amount by only $250. Believing that this was not enough of a reduction for the unneeded visits I sent a check for $3287.98 on 10/12 (which is my best guess of what I should pay for only the 9/27 (1st) visit,On 10/17 received a call saying the $250 reduction was all I could get. They were not charging me for the 10/03 visit and had already reduced the 10/5 visit by $250. I still owed them $500. I asked for a detail in writing on how the bill was computed and they agreed to provide that info.On 10/27 I received 3rd invoice for $500. Labor hours are shown but no cost per hour information is included. Item #3 (repair) is still there. The 10/3 visit that they said I was not being charged for is still there. No rates are provided so I have no visibility on how the labor was computed. The 10/3 and 10/5 visits were needed only because of a mistake they made on the 9/27 (1st) visit. I ashould not have to pay for their mistake. Charging me for their error may or may not be legal but it is not right.
