Hired December 2, 2021 Payed $67,000.00 Remove and replace all flooring and new baseboards Cover stairs.Remodel Master bathroom Remodel guest bathroom Replace existing brass doorknobs and hinges with nickel Shelf in bar area and a barndoor.Light and exhaust fan in attic The flooring was laid without an underlayment and buckled, We had to remove all of it and all of the baseboards.The floor was a total loss and an expense to remove it and dispense with it.Hardware: I am only missing one doorknob, but the front door was not properly installed and may have to be replaced.Master Bath:: Remove tub, shower, counter and tile floor. Replace with heated floors, steam shower, new counter, sinks and hardware, enclose toilet room with a barndoor, add exhaust fan and light. Install 2 recessed medicine cabinets. He tore out part of the ceiling and installed a light and fan. These were in the ceiling of the steam shower. The light was not to code, no exhaust fans in a steam shower. The absolutely wrong tile was laid over the heated floor and had to be torn up and dispose of. Nothing else was bought or done.Guest bathroom: remove tub, flooring and counter top. He did that, but didn't use any of the sample I him.The floor was the wrong tile, the shower was BLACK tile I had pick a different tile in grey, the counter was to be quartz with a small rectangular sink, I got a premade HD plastic counter with a huge sink that was just resting on the counter. We repurposed the toilet. I had to remove all the tile and the counter and dispense with it.Bar: did replace the shelf in the bar, but no barndoor Attic: did put in not one light which I requested but two lights and NO exhaust fan.Stairs: the carpet had been removed but nothing had been done to them.Start date was 12/02/2021, Addendum #2.1 was agreed to on Dec.28, 2021. May 28th 2022 was what we got.Today is 8/3/2022 My 80 year old husband and I are still with out a home.
