I have ordered delivery from the restaurant itself multiple times in the past 1.5 years at which I have been at my present address. Their online system allows me to place an order for delivery and does not mention any restrictions on distance. Today my order was cancelled by the employee at the front because she says it is beyond the restaurant's delivery range. She stated the range is 5 miles, and I am outside that range (by 1 mile). I explained to her that I have had delivery many times in the past, and I further asked if this was a new policy. She said no, but she had only been there 2 months. I asked to speak to a manager to explain I have had deliveries in the past, and she refused to escalate the call. She told me I had to go through Grub Hub if I wanted the order. As a result my order total went up by just over $26.00 because of higher prices on Grub Hub and higher fees. I tried to explain that to the employee but she said it didn't matter, and that even though the restaurant had delivered in the past, she would not allow it, and shoe would not allow me to speak to a manager. To Whom It ************* This email is a response to the customer complaint filed to the ********************** by ********************* with regards to a service experience that they found unsatisfactory. In response to the letter we have reached out to the customer, heard their concerns and offered a resolution that the customer warranted to be satisfactory but the end of the call. We have addressed the issues identified in the complaint and the customer feels ********************** to continue business with us when they feel the desire to order Chinese food in the future.
