We had a ruptured water heater and called **** Homes. They began work and quotes a flat charge of $4,700. I looked up the cost of the water heater they provided, which was $900 at **********. The plumber worked for 3 hours and used a small amount of miscellaneous materials. If I added 4 hours of travel the bill should still have been under $2,500. Their management refused to give a breakdown of cost and said I agreed to a lump sum amount. Ultimately they reluctantly dropped the price to $4,300, but stand by a flat rate estimate. Their Yelp reviews indicate that they are doing this to many clients. I would avoid using this company.

**** ****************** Plumbing, Electrical replaced the wax ring at the base of our toilet on 5_21_2024, a job that should have cost around $150, but they charged us $573.42. A copy of our bill was not given to us at the time of service. My husband did agree to the price before service but did not know that the price was 4 times the price that should have been charged. When we called the company to suggest that the price was a mistake they said we agreed to the price before service so they would not change the price. This appears to be a regular problem with this company (charging excessive prices for services). I had **** come out to look at my heat pump because it wasnt working. The charged $200 to come out the. Recommended a leak test . After paying another $360 for the leak test they told me there were multiple leaks on both the indoor and outdoor unit and the whole system needed to be replaced. They quoted me $12,000. I have a friend that does this kind of work too so he came and looked at it. He found 1 big leak in the outdoor unit that took 10 minutes to fix and the system works great. I called **** to discuss this and asked for a refund for the leak detection fee. I didnt want a refund for the service fee. A manager called me back and told me, sorry you signed a contract and we did a leak detection. I am very pleased with the plumbing work done at my home. I took three day and was very thorough. I was listen to and everything was explained to me. .Very good customer service. *********************** was efficient and professional.
