We gave this company a depost of 11k to replace roof. They quit having any contact with us; won't return calls or emails. According to the contractors board Travis Mann's license has been suspended effective 7/2022. There are currently 4 claims now against him with the board which means i likely won't get any of my money back. This business needs stopped and people need notified not use them.Initial Complaint

We signed a contract on February 8, 2022 and paid a 50% deposit of $15,350 to have our roof replaced. At the time, we were told we were scheduled for April or May. After numerous calls, they told us it would be August 15th. Despite several contact calls again recently, we have not heard from them. They simply have not returned our calls. We also went to their office twice but no one is there. We desperately need a new roof before fall / winter.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction' 8/18/21. Down payment o 1/2 @ $10,901.65. Contracted to completely re-roof our single dwelling house. **** square feet of new asphaltic shingle roof. Take off old roof and place new roof.Total contract was $23,000. Gave us start date of 9/7/21. Never showed or called. so after 4 months of new start dates and no shows (REDICULOUS) finally engaged ****** ******************* and am in middle of that. Says he has his own problems and thats that so far. Am a 86 year old widow and borrowed this money from my son. am at ***** end!!! Phone number is ************. *********************Business response

On 8/19/21 customer transferred $10901.66 to the company as a down payment for the roof to be torn off and installed at the location of ***** ******************** in ******. We then gave them a tentative start date as the weather plays a factor in when start dates can be fully confirmed. The start date passed but the company as a whole was shut down with Covid. No one was allowed into the office until the tested negative for Covid. Once our crew was allowed back we started to get things back in order, unfortunately we went from a crew of 18 to a crew of 7 so we were at a disadvantage with the time it would take to tear off and install. The crew was now behind by a minimum of five roofs. We were in contact with the customers brother and told him we would come out and see if we could repair the roof to hold it over until we could come out and replace the entire roof. Our ******* came back and told us that there was no possible repair to be done, even getting on the roof to examine it was causing even more damage. We had an office manager quit who was in charge of the scheduling and when he left his position he neglected to update anyone on the schedule or any upcoming roof to be installed. We have a first in first out policy that we apply to our customers. We had called multiple customers moved back in the schedule and they were all very understanding. When we called the customer in question we told them they were now the next roof in line as a few other customers asked to be moved down the line for various reasons but this customer said no we would like a refund, after they had already signed a contract. We apologized for how long it took to get to them and they still refused to have their work completed. It was very frustrating not being able to complete the jobs in the manner we wanted due to Covid, lack of workers and general unavailability of materials.Customer response

Only one thing this person says is TRUE that I know for a fact! That is the date he stated he took the down payment for our reroof job. All of it is false and when he says that we were told we were so called next in line was FOUR MONTHS after the start date he gave us and after I notified him we were taking him to the **************** on 12-8-21.I have every correspondence,email, phone call etc.documented with this outfit. He is very good at what he does! Or should I say doesn' do!
