I entered into a guardianship for a puppy with the breeder at Henry Elliots Doodles. I followed the contract to a T and she falsely accused me of not adhering to the nutritional guidelines and breeding practices. The only breeding practices I have a problem with is if she changed her breeding practices. The puppy is not old enough to be bred yet. Previously she stated she would not be breeding until she was 1.5- two years which I was totally aligned with because thats when its appropriate to breed a dog. As for the nutritional guidelines, she did not specify an exact food that she wanted the dog to be eating. Originally the puppy was eating the same food the breeder was feeding the puppies, that dog food was recalled. She did not contact us with a different dog food that she would like us to be feeding ***** but I contacted the vet for guidance on what to feed her. This occurred in November. In January, She wanted to see ***** and I took her to her house and in discussion she found out I was not feeding her the same food, she gave me a small bag of that food and I proceeded to switch ***** over to that exact food that she wanted ***** to be eating. On January 21 she required me to bring ***** to her house so that she could take the puppy to a vet to be tested for future breeding. She asked me to bring her crate, which I did comply with. It is a crate that I purchased. On January 22, I was expecting to hear from her to come and pick the puppy up after her testing was done but instead I received a letter canceling the guardianship. She now states that she would pay for the previous vet visits that I had paid for, but no mention of returning or paying for my crate. In addition, I have also paid quite a bit of money for dog training that I cannot continue with now because I do not have the dog. I paid $1395 for two dogs to be trained. I attached documents that show she is wanting to breed her now, my Bark Buster charge for training and the contract.
