I am a brand new special education teacher. Last week I noticed an unusual charge on my bank account and upon investigation with my bank this charge has been happening since November 2023. I immediately emailed the company and asked them to stop my account and refund money as I didn't use any of their services. It took several attempts to get them to answer questions. I never received billing invoices or communication from this company involving billing. I had no knowledge that I was being charged for services I was not utilizing. This company refuses to help.I was charged ***** from November to May and ***** for ***** Also notice the price increase. There was also no notice of price increase which most reputable companies would notify of. They do not want people to know that they are scamming money each month and not rendering services.Initial Complaint

I signed up for services with Teach Simple. Shortly afterwards, I changed jobs and lost access to the email that I used when signing up for the service. I have attempted to go through the company to either A) have my password reset so that I can access the account and correct the email address, or B) receive a refund for services that I am unable to access, or C) receive a code for a free month so that I can utilize the services that I have been charged for. I did attempt to reach out to customer service and I was basically told too bad, we can't assist you. It is incredibly frustrating that I paid for a service that I cannot access, or receive the benefits of, and to be told that the refund policy is nonexistent is not helpful, nor is it best business practices.Initial Complaint

I signed up for Teach Simple during the last school year. I did not use the website very often as I found it difficult to navigate and find suitable material for my special education classroom. I logged into Teach Simple to cancel my subscription as I noticed that I was still being charged $9.99 a month for the subscription. Once I noticed that I was still being charged, I logged in to cancel the subscription. On the webpage, it does not give me the option to manually cancel the subscription. I contacted **************** and they can not cancel it on their end due to not being able to authentically identify individuals. I find this odd as when I signed up I had to use an email address as well as put my debit card on file. **************** was rude to me and told me they could no longer help once I explained to them that I no longer have access to the email address I signed up for. I changed my name and my email address accurately represents my current name. I am able to receive emails using the old email address but I am unable to do anything else. I am asking that the past four months be refunded to me as I have tried to resolve this issue.
