Very sad experience. I had an extended warranty on some furniture I purchased last year. The table suffered some surface damage from A scented oil spill. They seemed determined to deny my claim. I was given a different reason each time I refuted the previous one. Lastly, they claimed that it was impossible that the spill could have caused the damage in the pictures I sent them, based on the information they alleged they saw on the air fresher manufacturer website. When I said it depends on the surface in question I was told that Fortegra did not build the table so they know nothing about that. Unfortunately based on other reviews and complaints my experience is not unique. Note: their contract limits the recourse you have, including waiving the right to be part of a class action lawsuit. This explains a lot considering the number of customers they have betrayed. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDEDReview from Donna B

This place *****. I have had multiple claims on a leather living room suit I bought from Rooms to go. They have denied every claim. I now have expensive useless junk sitting in my living room. They do not repair Anything. I have a chair that leans to one side and we cant even use. I have zippers that are broke and they will not repair. I have leather worn and they wont repair. Dont waste your money on them or rooms to go.Review from Angel Y

This company is trash I bought my daughter a bedroom set with Rooms to go, unexpectedly they put insurance on the furniture we didnt notice until they billed us. About a year and half later my daughter was swapping her furniture from room to room and she damaged the drawer of the nightstand and under her bed she stored a large luggage that scrapped the bottom rail of the bed. These were accidents that happened and with this forte grad insurance is suppose to cover well when the tech came out he stated that it dog chew. That was a lame excuse not to replace nor repair the furniture. Weve been paying insurance on these furniture for almost 3 years and it didnt cover anything not even a repair I truly hope that something can be done because these people are scamming the clients with their propaganda of coverageReview from Syed Irfan P

this company is a scam, we have an accidental cut and beverage stains, they keep on rejecting saying its intentional not accidental. I asked them to prove its not an accidental but no response. Who is going to cut intentionally and stain the very expensive sofa.Review from Bridget E

Absolutely worst company ever! Everything they state they cover they DO NOT! They will find a loop hole to keep from paying. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! Youre better off keeping the hundreds of dollars you pay and if something happens just buy a new one.Review from Terry G

We bought a couch and 2 recliners through Rooms-2-go about a year ago. My wife's recliner had a cracked cup holder about a month after owning it. We put in a claim immediately and about a month later they sent out a technician to replace it under warranty, About 4 months later the same cup holder in the same chair was cracked again. We called to put a claim in and this time was denied because a Fortegra Rep said we didn't report it immediately and after a few minutes we called again to complain about the decision and was told this time that even if it was reported in a timely manner that they didn;t cover the plastic parts anyway. This company is a total rip off, If possible I would give them a 0 rating. We will never by anything from Rooms-2-go again if this is the kind of warranty company the use.Review from Louis R

This is a scam! DO NOT BUY INTO THIS LIE!When you have claim they will send someone , who probably give you false hope. Then you get the message after the claim the repair or replacement would be approved isn't going to happen! They are scam artist!Review from Brenda V

Please know that this is a 0 rating. DO NOT BUY Fortegra warranty thru Rooms to Go or any any company. THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. I still have over a year left on my warranty that we spent hundreds of dollars on. They will do anything they can not to honor your warranty save your money for something else better than buy a fortegra warranty!! I spent a lot of money on this crappie warranty. The table is peeling and bubbling due to no fault of my own. I filed a claim and was denied. If this was my fault I would have not even tried to file a claim so to know that I didn't get my monies worth really bothers me. If this is the only warranty company R2G goes through I will not be ordering from them again.Review from Gladys S

Do not buy Fortegra thru RTG. My dining room chairs started peeling after a year of light use, since its me that mainly sits on them. I was informed that its normal wear and tear. Will never buy again at RTG nor use their warranty service.
