      On Jun 22nd 2023, my wife came to this Jiffy Lube at this location for windshield chip repair and ****************** change service. Jiffy Lube's ****** took advantage of my wife (who did not much car services) to overcharge her with the ************************************ which clearly priced at $119.99. The store charged my wife $122.99 for just oils and EXTRA $14.99 for OIL FILTER and Store Supply Fee of $3.99. After my wife got charged, paid, she went and I checked the prices and the receipt and I've found out Jiffy Lube about this overcharge and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT by Jiffy Lube because the ********** Services are always included OIL FILTER. ****** answered me by saying that my wife agreed. I said to ****** that she took advantage of my wife because my wife did not know about oil changed services. ****** did apply $25 coupon for my wife which is only $5 more than the current coupon of $20 that is going on nationwide on Jiffy Lube's website.I spoke with Jiffy Lube's manager **** the next day on 6/23/23 and he admitted that Jiffy Lube Prices are misleading and that is the store's policy which he cannot do anything about it. I said this is not you Manager's fault but Jiffy Lube's fault of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.I want Jiffy Lube to refund my wife $14.99 Oil filter + $3.99 Store Supply Fee = $19.98 because of this FALSE ADVERTISEMENT right in the Jiffy Lube store.

      My brother took my car for an oil change at jiffylube before he went on vacation overseas., and after driving it for few miles the engine got damaged and ceased the engine. As i was overseas on a family visit , he informed me of the problem and i told him to put it in his garage till i come back to take care of it. After i came, next day i went and checked on the car and there was no oil. I went to ******* and bought 3 quarts of engine oil and i added it so i can drive it to jiffylube, but unfortunately, there was a paddle of oil underneath the car. I called them and the Eithen the mechanic came and found out that there was no oil filter. He put a new one and he added oil , but the engine pistons were making terrible noises.He called the district manager and he came on Monday and after looking at it he promised me to solve the issue and look at it further. He sent a claim adjuster/ investigator and after looking at it , he blamed jiffylube for not tightening the oil filter and the case number is #******* It has been two weeks now and jiffylube didn't want help me out with a rental car or fix my car. They denied responsibility and didn't want solve this issue. We have only one income coming to the family and it is really hard to commute to work or doing daily errands . I would greatly appreciate it if you can help me

      We take claims of this nature very seriously, at the time of this incident I personally went and investigated the vehicle and then I hired a third party to investigate as well. At the conclusion of the investigation it was seen that the oil filter was missing from the vehicle and the cause of that cant be determined without the oil filter itself and there where also inconsistencys with oil loss in this particular case. If the customer can provide additional evidence we would be more then happy to view it

      I am rejecting this response because my brother traveled the next day after the oil change and I advised him to put the car in the garage till I come back from my trip. I have both his and my boarding pass and itinerary to prove that . The response of the district manager mentioned the word that there were some inconsistencies when it comes to oil, I explained them that when I came back from my trip, I checked the oil level and it was empty and then I went to ******* and bought 3 quarts of engine oil so I can drive it to jiffy lube so they can look at it. I never thought that there was no oil filter missing and it created a puddle of oil. Then I  called them to come check on it and they found that there was the oil filter missing and they put a new one and added engine oil and tried to start it but the engine was damaged. The third party claim investigator concluded that the cause of the oil filter coming off was that jiffy lube didn't tighten the oil filter properly and it came off as a result.*********************, promised me to provide more videos of the oil change and call me , but he never did. the conclusion is that Jiffy lube damaged my car and never tried to provide a rental car or cooperate .

      To Whom this may concern,

                    To follow up on your previous email as to Additional Evidence The filter would be needed to run a pressure test and the chain of events would need to nailed down as to what took place, If the filter came off while driving the vehicle the undercarriage of the vehicle would contain a significant amount of oil for blow back in which there was little no evidence of this taking place. Please let me know if there is anything further to assist you with.

      I am rejecting this response because jiffylube is trying to avoid claiming responsibility and they know in advance that they didn't tighten the oil filter properly and this caused it to fall. I never had any issues with my car changing engine oil till I had my car's oil change at this location. jiffylube is indirectly admitting that they are the ones responsible for damaging my car especially after admitting that it took them them only 6 minutes to do the oil change and this is BIZARRE. All i need is fix my car.
