This ************** employee are dishonest. They gave me a quote of $165.85 for the "flushmate pressure assist system 503 series" without mentioning shipping and other charges. Once I agreed with the price, placed the order. They immediately sent me the order # T466192 & a receipt of $187.30 including $13.95 shipping fee & $7.50 for "over size item charge. This is typical "bait and switch ", a deceptive business practices. They knew I wouldn't buy from them if they disclosed the shipping fee & hidden charges in advance. I called the company to complain about their deceptive business practice. The lady answering the phone just brushed me off, telling me that's the way they do business, she didn't see any inappropriate business practice pattern. However she did tell me she would reflect my opinion to her manager. The purchase was acted and posted on my credit card on October 27. It's been more than two weeks. I'm still waiting for their response.Business response

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Air Delights, **** has a flat rate shipping fee advertised on our website. Unfortunately, some oversized items require additional shipping charges covered by the handling fee. The quoted price was for the Flushmate tank itself, but I do apologize for the confusion of not including the shipping cost. It seems like you checked out using our online platform - this platform gives you several chances to review your order before placing it. The shipping and handling fees are highlighted at every step of the checkout process. We strive to make an easy checkout experience and, again, apologize if these charges were not clear.

I am rejecting this response because:They never gave me a chance to review the total charge. They just sent me a receipt of $187.30 directly. I wouldn't buy from them if they show me the total of $187.30. Those people are indeed lying, really disgusting

Dear BBB faculty:
Air Delights failed to reply to my response. Please take the next necessary action force them to respond. Simultaneously I'll file complaint with the related government agencies. This kind misleading, deceptive business practices mounts to fraud. They should be held accountable for their actions.
I have been doing quite a bit online shopping from all the companies. All of those online retailers have similar online check out platform except Air Delights. Air Delights offers quote (merchandise+local sales tax) without mentioning shipping & other charges. Once I agreed with the quoted price and clicked the "place order" button, they immediately sent me the RECEIPT through a pop-up window with all the add on hidden charges & shipping fee. They never mentioned all those charges during the ordering process. They know I would back out if I see all the ridiculous charges. There are plenty of companies that would either waive the shipping fee or even give me a discount for the purchased merchandise. Why would I buy from Air Delights and pay a much higher price if they were honest, show me the shipping fee & hidden charges up front? They had the audacity to lie in my face when they responded to my complaint. Why can't Air Delights just offers me a honest, candid, forthcoming quote right at beginning? It clearly indicated their deceptive intention. It's really disgusting that I have to deal with those liers. I don't want anyone else fall victim of this deceptive business entity and going through all the trouble I been through again.

I have had correspondence with this company for 2 weeks. They provided me with quotes, and I even opened a line of credit with them for the order I placed. After the order was placed they told me that the company had discontinued this item and tried to get me to buy a comparable alternative at a $200 cost increase per unit. My original quote was for $3,368.20 and the new amount quoted was $4,968.20. I am looking for them to honor their original quote, with the alternative product.Business response

I am sorry for the inconvenience our quoting process has caused you. As a distributor representing dozens of manufacturers and thousands of products,it's inevitable our website continues to advertise obsolete items until discovered. Such is the case with the complaint at hand. The main focus of the quoting process and highest concern of our potential new customer was obtaining net terms, which shined the light away from in depth product research. After much deliberation, we extended credit terms to a brand new customer with no previous business history with out company. When we were ready to process with the order is when we were made aware that the quoted item is obsolete and has not gone price increases because of that. We have since rectified the issue, and continue to do so with products as they come up.
