      I had our car towed there, with a transmission problem. I spoke with *** and he gave us a lead time of 4 weeks. 4 weeks comes and go and still no word as to what is wrong with the vehicle, promises he will get it on the rack soon. This goes on for weeks and weeks. We contacted him well over 35 times to find out the progress and what was going to be done. He at one point suggested a new transmission, then a rebuild, maybe a new. We were never consulted as to the route he was preceding with. He kept promising the vehicle every Friday for 2 months.! He had an excuse as why our vehicle wasn’t ready. It was someone’s paternity leave, holiday, yada yada. At one point we told him we would get the car towed to another shop. I don’t feel I am being unreasonable when I say 4 months in absurd amount of time to fix a car. It’s not a classic car, it’s a Toyota. We go to pick up the car, the battery is dead. He presents the bill and I ask for a detailed description and he presents me with 1 line statement. I ask again for the breakdown and he shrugs his shoulders. I have many cars repaired and my day and this was ridiculous. Most have a parts section as well as a labor. Not this place. And on top of that the check engine light is now on, back latch doesn’t close, and the transmission doesn’t shift perfectly, whining sound from speakers and the crowning jewel is the rat infestation inside the cab of the Sequioa. There are feces everywhere as well as foam from the seats. I contacted him back and suggested we bring it back in to see what’s wrong. Are you kidding me, I can’t not have a vehicle again for 4 months. I disputed the charges with AMEX, they ruled in my favor, but since then *** has sent us to collections. This business does not have an answering machine, voicemail or mailbox.

      I dropped my car at Beaverton All ***************************** Repair approximately the end of May, 2022. Since then there have been multiple calls to check on my car and multiple excuses. First they tried to rebuild the transmission and then could not do it. Then ***** ordered a new transmission and said it would be finished after that soon. It has now been more than a week. He just keeps making excuses. I need my car back because I have no transportation. I want my car back fixed or not and I do not want to pay.

      In regard to **************** complaint :

      His complaint is valid. This has taken a lot longer than we would have ever expected. With parts problems and delivery problems it has stretched this out way to long. this is why we decided to purchase a reman unit at our cost to be able to bring this to a end. the unit is delivered and what we find is another broken part on the just delivered new reman transmission . this unit came from the east coast (ten days delivery) its not like these transmissions are ready available . Short story the parts show up Wednesday 8/17/22 at 4:30, on Thursday the tech that is working on this car hurt his back and missed  (1) days work. There is a lot more to this story and in short we are installing this transmission today once installed it will have to go to **** for reprogramming of the transmission. Just one more thing that I have no control over.

      I have apologized to *************** multiple times . He is our only concern, and are working to complete the install and reprogramming of his transmission .

      *** mentions waiting for parts but the fact is that they could not re-build the original transmission so he had to order a new transmission. He told me on 8/17 that the vehicle would be finished and now he is using the excuse that the vehicle has to go over to **** for re-programming? He has made multiple promises and has not kept his word. I would like my car back if he can not complete the work and I will take somewhere else.
