      If I could give zero stars, I would. Multiple times in my interactions with Oregon Appliance Repair staff I wondered to myself "Is this place a real business or is it just a front?" They are completely unprofessional in all ways -- customer ********************** is abysmal: they are outright aggressive in their customer interactions, consistently put me on hold and in some cases simply hung up while I was on hold, I have had to follow up with them in 100% of our interactions to reschedule / get reimbursed. Just take a peek at other reviews and see how aggressive they are in their responses to unhappy customers. Appalling.Their technicians arrived at our home without proper equipment and did not seem to know what they were doing. Not only did they not fix our appliance (honestly, the smallest gripe I have with them considering how contentious each and every interaction with them has been), but they were very defensive and aggressive about their "work" and I am still waiting to get reimbursed. Do not use them -- I honestly wonder if they are a real business.

      Don't even think about hiring this company! We called them for repairs to our dishwasher right before Thanksgiving. We were still waiting for parts and repairs over 3 months later. I cannot list all the excuses they gave us for the delay: service person's car broke down, someone was sick, they were sent the wrong part ... We felt we were repeatedly deceived. Worse yet, we were put on hold almost every time we called; and when they said they would call us back in ***** minutes, we never got a response. We finally gave up and bought an entirely new DW.

      Horrible service and communication. Opposite of prompt. Quoted a $$$ ***. Did not return calls. After being on hold many times, no calls returned was told oh I need an additional part for another $175. And then on installation day technician had a family emergency and didnt show up (and Id waited 5 weeks instead of the 2 wks promised). Still waiting- afraid if i cancel the whole thing theyll bill my card

      Is there an option for zero stars? If so, these guys need that rating. I have had to deal with them 2 time on ovens that I made a claim with home warranty insurance. I can't even tell you how bad they are on every level. Communication is zero. If you get someone on the phone, they will tell you they'll find out status and call you back. Then a week passes and still nothing. Since it was a home warranty claim, I had no say in choosing them. The first claim took over a year. My current claim has taken 10 months. I had pretty much given up but my home warranty company called me to renew so I told them how lovely Oregon Appliance Repair is to deal with. ******* at the warranty company has put in an escalation. Fingers crossed they will get back to me and get me with a repair company that is an actual repair company.

      Our dishwasher exhibited signs of smoking/electrical smells and erratic operations. Major Home Appliance came out 4 times to either inspect or attempt to fix the appliance. It exhibited the symptoms while the repairman was present. We also had videos. The last time - at the end of 2 months - the repairman stated it could not be fixed and he was submitting an email that day to American Home Shield. Multiple calls have always resulted that the company has not received a status from the repair company, Major Home Appliance. When we do call Major Home Appliance, they stated that the dishwasher has been listed as irreparable. There have been over 17 documented calls over a 2 month period. Imagine going through Thanksgiving without a dishwasher. Each time we follow up, it is the exact same scenario. While the service techs have been pleasant, the inability to convey a simple email to the parent warranty company has been abysmal. I would not use either company. Ever.

      Oct. 2021. Called to have an electric Kenmore range repaired ( burner wouldn't go on ) Sent "technician" who appeared to not know how to assess the problem. He ordered a new switch but he installed it upside down on the first attempt. On the second try the switch worked on that burner but when turning on other burners it shorted out the range. I personally went to their listed place of business after getting no response from an email or a phone message ( a house in a Bend neighborhood) and after ringing the doorbell and knocking several times I didn't raise anyone. I haven't recieved any acknowledgement ( email or phone message) of the problem . I've had another firm out to do the repair and he affirmed that the switch was not the problem. Giving them a one star may be a generous rating. **** L
