On 10/9/22 I called the business about receiving the title to my car since I paid it off the week before. They then went on to say they didnt have the title when, just the day before, they said they had it. The rest of the conversation they kept changing their story as to why they didnt have my title and said they lost it, and have not filed the paperwork to the dmv for the lost title. When I asked if I could pick up the paperwork and fill it out myself they said I was not allowed to do that. They got my car from an auction and never bothered to file for a title in the end. Now they are saying it is going to take 3 months for me to receive my title for my car. I need it a lot sooner than that. Something just seems very off with this business as they kept making excuses and changing their story as to why they did not have my title. I would like to know the truth and receive my title ideally in a month or less.
