I contracted with ********* on 9/13/21 for catering a wedding to be held on 10/22/22. I paid the full estimate for this contract that same day (9/13) in the amount of $5,935.52. The contract clearly provides that refunds will be issued for any event that is cancelled outside of 30 days prior to the event. I cancelled this agreement with the merchant on 2/17/22 via email. The cancellation was acknowledged on 2/23/22 and again on 3/3/22. Given that no refund was initiated, I have continued trying to follow up the merchant between then and now, but, since March 3, the company has gone completely silent and refuses to issue the refund that I am contractually entitled to.Initial Complaint

On 6/10/2022, G-Gourmet catered my wedding. I paid ******* for catering for 150 people upfront, with the agreement that I would be reimbursed the amount charged for any guest who didn't come. A couple weeks before my wedding, I adjusted the guest count to 97, and added an extra service (that should be less than the amount due as a refund). They did not send me an updated invoice and refund. First, they requested ****** without an itemized invoice. I ignored this and they canceled it. Then they requested ****** for the additional service, with an itemized list. This is when I began to email them, asking for an updated invoice with the amount due back to me, and any remaining amount I owed (I expected to be owed more than I owe back).Between 6/11 and 7/11 I sent 6 emails, and left voicemails twice, without receiving a response. On 7/12 I received an email saying that the entire staff had been out of office for a month and a half (with no automatic OOO email response), but that the accounting department would reach out the following week to resolve my issue. The following week, I got no response from the accounting department. on 7/26, I emailed again, saying I hadn't heard from the accounting department and asking for a contact. On 8/16 and 8/26 I sent two more emails, neither receiving responses. I believe I've left 1-2 more voicemails as well without hearing from anyone. I'm happy to provide the emails and invoices I paid and have been sent.
