Very unfair and deceptive practices. They would not tell me the costs until after they separated me from my cat. Then when I refused the course of tests they were requiring just to treat my cats UTI. Ultrasound(s), they wanted to admit her to the hospital for monitoring, additional bloodwork and X-rays, just to diagnose what seemed to me to be a pretty obvious UTI- and then they would be able to decide on treatment after thousands of dollars. I said that isn’t normal practices for a cat, she has had a uti before and her doctor would attempt to get a urine sample and if unsuccessful, would offer a round of antibiotics and if she doesn’t improve- THEN, would suggest additional testing. They refused & said they wouldn’t give her anything until they ran all these tests. So I said that’s fine, I’ll just take her to her normal doctor. Them- that will be $180. It then dawned on me why they separated me from my cat, bc now I won’t be able to refuse them payment bc they are implying they won’t return her & they didn’t return her to me until after they collected payment from me. I tried to dispute their practices but all they did was gaslight me and make me feel like I wasn’t getting my cat back unless I went along with their game. Someone needs to do something about these business practices. They felt wholly unfair and deceptive & I left feeling extorted. They should be required to be clear & upfront about their fees just as my regular doctors office was the next day. They quoted the price before even seeing my cat, then they quoted the price for the urine sample and when they couldn’t get a sample, they didn’t charge me for the attempt and then offered antibiotics and if it didn’t get better, then these are the tests we could do. Normal, fair and ethical business practices one should be able to expect from all practitioners. I feel they are preying on people in distress about having an urgent matter pertaining to their furry family members.

Read whole post.....worst vet experience ever. Fist they wanted $1200 as a deposit to see my dog with a broken leg weren't going to work with me even after getting a co signer. Then when I told them that I would have to go put my dog down they didn't even care. I have a good job and could afford to pay the bill as soon as I got my next paycheck witch was in just a few days. on top of all that I got a call the next day from the county saying that my dog had bitten a vet their and that my dog had the be quarantined I was never informed of that when I was there with my little 3 1/2 LB dog. Ohh quick note I had splinted my dog's broken leg to the best of my ability and they took off the splint rewrapped his leg and splinted it back up on the drive home it fell clean off horrible job i had to re splint it in the car All in all at the end of the day I give these people two thumbs down. I ended up taking my dog to the ************** and the vet bill there cost a little over 400 dollars including getting him fixed.
