Car was sold to me with multiple open safety recalls. Fire hazards, theft vulnerability. Pending.class actions including this vehicle had to be filed in November of 2023 and the dealership sold it in a flash sales a few weeks later.Rushed me to sign, ran my credit 4 timed without telling me. Ended up using the pre authorization I already had prior to walking into their business. Clearly qe need stricter laws in ****** since we cannot trust companies like Toyota of Corvallis to be ethical with cars they sell. Took advantage of a disabled family of poverty in crisis. Have ghosted and gaslit me since January when I found out the car is a lemon.Business response

My wife and I purchased a new 2021 ****** Crosstrek from ****** of Corvallis in July of 2021. We also purchased a maintenance/service contract for the vehicle at the of purchase of the vehicle. The maintenance/service contract was sold to us by Caesar in the ******************* he led us to believe we were purchasing the ****** maintenance/service contract, when in fact he sold us a maintenance/service contract that can only be used at ****** of Corvallis; we did not find this out until we tried to get the first oil change at ************** in *****. While at ************** I called ****** of Corvallis and was able to talk to Caesar and explained the situation, he stated that since my wife worked in Salem he would change the maintenance/service contract to the ****** maintenance/service contract on the upcoming Monday and would call me when he transferred the contact. I never received a call back from Caesar and 3 weeks later I called the dealership and spoke to the Finance ************************. ***** explained the difference between the maintenance/service contracts and informed me theirs went to 80k miles. ***** also informed that Caesar sold us a Toyota maintenance/service contract and that he correct this and send me the corrected paperwork. I have not received any paperwork from ****** of Corvallis and left at least 20 voicemails and have not received a callback. I have also contacted ****** of ******* in an attempt to help resolve this issue. ****** of ******* informed me that no one from the dealership would return the calls. In December I was able to speak to Caesar again, he again stated he would rectify the maintenance/service contract and mail me the new maintenance/service contract paperwork, I have not received any paperwork to date.
