I had been welcomed into this bar and served there since I turned 21. Watching poor management and unprofessional conduct ruin it over the years has been sad. I have witnessed first hand, bartenders openly drinking, smoking marijuana, and cutting and snorting cocaine on the bar with patrons or alone, during shifts. I have been asked by bartenders at Tonys to leave a shot in the bathroom for them so they could go take it in secret, and in return Id get a free shot. *** had friends pass out in the bathroom and puke blood, Ive seen people wreck their cars out front or leave and get countless DUIs after being over served. Countless fights out on the sidewalk, let alone one of their employees, *********************, verbally and attempting to physically assault her coworker on camera at ***** after harassing other patrons by screaming through the bar at them and following them around outside the bar and slandering them. Those patrons ended up getting 86d from ***** as a result - to keep the incident hushed and ensure that the manager and her employees can continue to enjoy partying together. Employees bring drama into their work environment. The place is no longer somewhere to feel safe, take a load off and relax. Its become an anything goes, loose party environment on the wrong side of the bar, where half the time the bartenders working dont know whats going on due to being under the influence. Ive seen many occasions where an employee didnt charge customers for food and drink in return for other substances and more often than not, most bartenders arent even ringing in all their drinks and pocketing cash. Id be appalled if this was my business and Id be seeking new management asap because the current manager is aware of these issues and allows them to fly.
