      I called to get an explanation for WHY OCCU had sent an address update to my Old physical address & Not my **** mailing address = 5 Minutes, on HOLD then, disconnected after explaining my problem to ********* = I, immediately, called back with No callers in the * & got ******, who wanted me to explain the problem, again & I asked for ********* = 5 Minutes, on HOLD then, I hung up & called back with No callers in the * & got ******, again, who said ********* had gone home = I explained the problem to ********* only made it WORSE with explanations that were ************************ = 10 Minutes, on HOLD, while she asked someone for answers & came back with the SAME Stupid explanations that she, already, gave me for WHY a NEW "physical" Address was sent to an OLD "physical" Address, when there was a **** P.O. Box "mailing" address, on FILE !!! THREE PHONE CALLS & 30 MINUTES, LATER, I STILL HAVE NO EXPLANATION FOR THEIR TOTAL DISREGARD FOR MY PERSONAL INFORMATION !!!

      To Whom It May *********** main purpose of this reviewis to increase public awarenessabout how Oregon Community Credit Union(OCCU) performs its business.So, people can make informed decision to deal or not todeal with this Credit Union.About 2months ago I tried to make ACH transferfrom OCCU to another bank, which pays 5% interest vs ****% of OCCU. This transaction appeared suspicious forOCCU staff and they not just haven't made the transfer, they blocked my access to my OCCU account. I've called them the same day the issue occurred and they after verification that the transfer was initiated by me, requested sensitive personal information about another financial institutionjust torestoremy access to OCCU.I do not see how my access to my account with OCCU can be dependent on whether I do have other accountsin another banks and why should I provide personal sensitive financial information to OCCU staff. Moreover, in a recent past OCCUhave cashed a check from my account on several thousands where numerical and word amounts were not even close. No questions asked. My inquiry, ******* did so, the check was definitely invalid, the answer was "it's my problem". Overallit tookme over2 months to move my money out of OCCU and I still do not have access tomy account.

      Worst credit union I have had the misfortune of dealing with. Show no compassion or consideration and every time I call in I get different information. Was in a car wreck December 2023 (not liable, someone hit me head on as they ran a stop sign) and they will not hold payments or waive a payment while I am waiting for GAP and Dealership reimbursement on my car. Insisting that I still need to pay $700/month to "keep my account in good standing" or I will not be able to get reimbursement from GAP and Dealership! Meanwhile, I am having to work part-time due to severe neck/back and brain injuries I received from this car wreck and still try and navigate this stupid process. I have no money to give them for this car payment, I also have another car payment because I need a car to get to and from appointments and work. Do they care that I am having to pay collectively $1300/month in car payments, H*** NO. Do they care that my credit score will be negatively impacted? H*** NO. Worse company I have worked with, whish it was possible to give them a 0 star review as 1 star is too good for this company. Look at their reviews and DO NOT work with them - they simply **** and give 0 f**** about working with their customers.

      They are a predatory lender and I'm going to do whatever I can and however long it takes to get the ********** State attorney general involved with their dealings they do not need to be taken advantage of people at a time like this the auto salesman do not need to be in the business going through every channel I can and as long as it take for them to make this right I will fight hard to try to get their business out of Washington

      They are saying weve not had insurance and charging us 100 to 200 over what we should be paying. Our insurance company called them to find out what is going on and the occu told them they gave us a refund almost **** that we have never seen. Not sure who they gave our money too but it wasnt us. We took paperwork directly into the business to which an employee must have thrown it away and lied to our face that she never saw us or received anything from us. Starting to feel like this place is a scam so not only filing a complaint with the bbb but consulting with a lawyer to take legal action against this company for fraud and theft. Do not at all recommend this company to anyone.

      My husband and I purchased a car from a dealership with financing through OCCU. Our first payment due in September 2022. I made a payment online. They said it had been returned because they couldn't find the account. When I called I was told the released payment went back to our bank . They said the problem was with *****. There is no balance increase. So basically $ 268 is gone with nothing to show for it. We made another payment to stay on top of it so our credit wouldn't take a ding. Again, here in October, we received another letter saying we are overdue. I called again. This person said they didn't receive the money order. She said it probably got lost in the mail. They always put blame on anything else but OCCU. She put me on hold. I had to wait and wait, then finally I hear something on the line and it hangs up. 40 minutes for that call. I called right back and got to speak with them. She pulled up the account. The payment had been received 3 days after we sent it. The late fee was still on there and it hadn't posted to our account. Finally all the issues would be resolved. I don't trust them, especially after reading the other posts. I will never recommend them to anyone. I would rate them 0 stars if I could.

      Financed an auto thru them. The lady was very adamant about me getting an extended warranty THAT THEY SELL !!!! Tried to use it and the EXCLUSIONS ARE HORRIBLE !!!! If you use these folks to buy a car DO NOT buy their "Pet" extended warranty. It's too expensive and they will turn you down for repairs............... OCCU should be ashamed for "Pushing" ************ extended warranty, as you could throw your $$$$ in a fire and it would be about as productive.... Better yet, I would suggest not even doing business with this credit union !?!?!?!??

      Thank you for providing the opportunity for **** to resolve this matter. **** talked with our member on May 11, 2022, about the extended warranty exclusion. While **** is still dissatisfied with the ******** product, they decided to keep the coverage. The **** representative emailed their direct contact information and a copy of the policy if **** elects to change their mind.

      The most frustrating process I have ever been though for an auto loan.They have charged me for not having insurance on my car. while I had insurance on my car. I called them and provided proof of coverage during that time, and they said that there was nothing they could do to reverse the charges.Next: The online platform is an uncharitable labyrinth. I set up auto pay with my bank and it does not give you the option to make a direct payment.I had monthly payments going into the "savings" account but not into my loan. I have to wait for my auto payment to go through and then go online and transfer from my savings to my loan...Next, I tried to fix this, and they started charging my other bank account. Fix right? Nope not at OCCU, they pulled from both of my accounts this month. So now I am paying double monthly car payments because their website was built during the *** com boom and hasn't been updated since 1992.I will be refinancing with literally any other institution asap. Worst mistake I could have possibly made when choosing a financial institution. I think a loan shark would have been a more painless process. DO NOT USE THIS BANK FOR A LOAN!

      I can never get through to their customer service for my dispute. Been on hold twice for two hours and never received response when messaging online with their message site.
