The work was originally performed on Oct ***** 2023. The full payment amount was $5,553.19 for invoice #**** on 10/21/2023. The company was supposed to do the following:- Duct 3 bath fans through ***** ends.- Repair fifteen broken vent screens.- Remove and replace ductwork with new hard pipe and seal with mastic.- Remove and replace ground cover with new visqueen.- Seal all ductwork with mastic and wrap with fiberglass ductwrap.- Reseal plumbing vent pipe at the roofline.Numerous quality issues existed after the first 2 days of work. The company ended up coming back out to fix improperly sealed roof vents that were installed (instead of the ***** end vents) that lacked asphalt roof shingles. The crawlspace was left a complete mess including exposed soil that should have been covered by visqueen. These issues were resolved.Upon inspecting the **** registers on the main floor of the house it was discovered that 3 of them were left either fully disconnected from the house or not secured to the new hard pipe ductwork (the 3rd line item above). The ducts should have been secured with screws to the boots. No new straps were added to support the increased weight from the insulation and hard pipe. This is very worrisome as all ducts were previously connected before the work was started. For the past month or so we have been feeding hot furnace air into the crawlspace and letting cold air into the house through these disconnected ducts. My wife and I spent several hours today attempting to fix them (though not sure if they're to code or not). We have reconnected the boots to the house and ductwork to the boots. We also sealed all of the gaps left in the ductwork with duct tape. During the work my wife and I received many cuts on our hands and forearms due to the sharp metal edges and screws in the ducts.I have reached out to the company and am waiting for a response.

I spoke with **** at Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver in ******. We have come to a resolution. He said that mid next week (Dec 27, 2023) he will send me a partial refund. The amount is satisfactory to us and once the check has been received, this case can be closed.

On March 10 ***************** installed a sump pump and was to remove insulation and debris from the crawl space. Two days later Vinny from ***** Waterproofing came by to give me an estimate for encapsulating the crawl space. When Vinny inspected the are he discovered that the sump pump was not attached to the pipe and debris and insulation was still there. There was also 40 feet of pipe that was not installed He took pictures so I could see that the work was not done a according to the agreement A few days later **** from **** Lowes inspected the area and agreed the work was not complete. He did tell me that the sump pump was ok and it water would be filtered thru the gravel. He in no way indicated to me that it needed to be hooked up to the pipe. He wanted to finish the work but I am at a point I do not trust this company. I feel I was misled from the beginning and the workers didnt think I would go under the house to find out they had not completed the job. **** took off $2700 of the $4700 owed after talking to the people at ***** Waterproofing. I do not feel I owethis amount of money but do not want to be wrong about it. Please give me guidance

Good afternoon and thank you for the information. I have spoken to **** numerous times  and appreciate his concern and action to avoid similar problems in the future
However, I think the omissions in my projects were blatant. The job was incomplete, and the contract was clear as to what was to be done. If it was done correctly the first time this would not be in dispute.
Because of this $2700 is not acceptable.  I am willing to pay $1000 for the remainder of the cost even if the job was not complete.
If you have further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call me.

I’ve also decided that I do not want to pay $1000.  They did not do the job. Thank you, **** ********
