Dealer sold me a salavaged title without disclosure.

      Business response

We believe the title issue to be erroneous.  We have reached out to the seller of this vehicle to verify status and are awaiting a reply.

I am rejecting this response because the dealership has been using investigation as an excuse for over a month without a solution without any follow up. They refuse to return phone calls or emails.

      Sincerely,

I took my 2010 Subaru STI to the Subaru dealership approximately January of 2022 after moving it from 2 other mechanic shops that didnt have time to diagnose it. Upon diagnosis they determined that I needed part of my engine redone along with some other things (turbo replaced, clutch replaced, bushings and sway bar replaced etc.) I agreed to the work to be done totaling almost $12,000. (I do not have the exact amount as all of my paperwork is in my vehicle which is currently at the above mentioned Subaru dealership). I paid this in full when I picked up the vehicle April 22, 2022. Subaru guaranteed their work and said I should get many years of good use out of the vehicle as they found NO OTHER PROBLEMS WITHIN THE ENGINE AFTER A COMPLETE TARE-DOWN. On April 23, 2022 the vehicle jumped timing within a mile of my home and would not start, run or drive. It was trailered back to Subaru, by Subaru after a week of it sitting broke down at my home because I could not drive it back to them so they worked out a time to come and get it which was about a week later. They re-set the timing chain onto its cam and gave the car back after about 2 weeks. On June 9, 2022 the car broke down again doing the same thing it had done the day after the work was completed, it also had codes come up again for a jumped timing chain. Subaru is now claiming that there is metal in my vehicles oil and that it likely needs $6,000-12,000 worth of work put into the bottom end of the engine as they believe it may have thrown a connecting rod. Every mechanic shop that I have called and spoken with has told me that if this is the case it is 100% Subarus fault as the car jumped timing and that easily causes major issues in an interface motor as they do allow for as much to go wrong before major issues result. My vehicle has now been back at Subaru for a month and they are claiming the fault is mine. All of my documents for the car are in it so my dates/amounts are memory/time stamps on photos included
