I was number 2 of 13 that applied within the first 10 mins of the listing. (Otpm informed me of that). So eventually I become First in line and put a $1,500 deposit down. Less than 24 hours later I got accepted to a property that better for my needs. I was transparent with them and told them the situation. They can just move on the the next person, no problem. 13 people in the first 10mins right? Well, ***** decided that they needed to keep the $1,500 because of costs incurred by me changing my mind what costs? You have people that have already filled an application and paid the fee (what % of their revenue are those free by the way! ). What coat ****, emailing the next person? Anyway, I begged them to not s**** me over like this and they said theres nothing that I can do to them and hung up on me. So they took my $1,500 because they could and they know its not worth it for me to Hire a lawyer. This is the state of property management. Its not just them, but I will say in my 15 years working with property management companies as a vendor, these people are some of the worst Ive encountered, especially *****. Avoid at all costs.

Oregon Tenant and Property Management LLC Response

Mr. *** is providing false information. He signed a contract that had clear consequences if he failed to follow through with his agreed actions. He chose to violate that agreement and expected that he not be held to the consequences. He threatened and berated staff to get his way. To be clear this circumstance was created by Mr. ***** failure to follow through with his portion of the signed contract.

Ok. Let the people decide who is at fault here. Yes I signed the contract, I said that. My point is, you did not need to take ****. It didnt cost you anything. There were many people in line and all you needed to do was send an email to the next person. So yes, I was a victim of your contract. People: who do you believe? Look at the other reviews, on yelp, ******* etc. its common for them to take advantage of People. And ***** also threatened me and told me I have no chance at getting my money back, hes been there many times before but yeah ok, I berated staff lol Just look at the tone of their comment.
