The dealership repossessed my vehicle under the grounds of "Someone called us and cussed ** out". The original price of the vehicle was advertised as $3,000 and was told after getting the vehicle that I owe $6,500. I put $600 down originally.

Upon them attempting to take repossession of the vehicle, they showed no paperwork stating the repossession. They simply showed up with an extra key and hopped in the car and tried to drive away.

When they were caught doing so, they stated "give me your key now and you can get your stuff out, or I'm taking it all". This is theft of my car which was fully paid up for the current calendar month.

The vehicle was repossessed because the customer had no insurance since August 5th. After multiple unsuccessful contact attempts across several days, we reached out to his references and finally heard back from him. When he was made aware that he no longer had insurance and we needed updated proof of insurance,  he told us his insurance is none of our business. We gave him over 14 days to fix his insurance, he chose not to and continued to drive the vehicle without any insurance. Copy of his insurance cancellation is attached which shows he failed to keep up his end of the retail installment contract which clearly states he is required to maintain full coverage insurance for the life of the loan.

In regards to the cost of the vehicle, the customer added on a $3,000 Service Plan when he purchased the car. It is not a requirement, this is something the customer opted in for which took his original loan balance from $3k to $6k.

      Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:

No attempts were made to contact me in regards to my insurance, they texted me, then exactly 1 hour later texted everyone on my references list saying "they been trying for days to get a hold of me". I have 2 numbers in which they can get a hold of me, and an email. I have timestamps for everything.

The service plan was not disclosed that it was an extra $3,000 on top of the amount I had to pay for the vehicle. During the time I was signing the paperwork, I was told that it was a small fee per month and will stay with the vehicle even after paying it off. They're lying about the cost of this plan and lying about me "purchasing" a $3,000 plan. I bought a cheap service plan that is "included" with my monthly payment.

Upon paying this vehicle, I was charged a ludicrous rate and after paying $300 found I only had $36 That went into the principal balance. They never once said I'd be making such a measley payment to actually pay off the car essentially trapping me into a long term contract for a vehicle that was only worth about $1k realistically.

      Sincerely,

The original amount for the car was $2999. I put $600 down originally for the vehicle. Meaning I should only have to pay $2,399. Even with a $3000 service plan, that only comes to $5,399. And yet, it said the balance due was $6,499 when I checked the balance due. So, where did this random extra money come from?

Also, it's signed off on the contract itself that the business would repair my headlight which was broken and technically not legal to drive. Not to mention the broken Emergency Brake, the cracked exhaust, the messed up Head on the engine. This vehicle was not road safe and yet they sold it to me anyways.

They did not hold up their end of the contract.
