My father bought a Truck from them 2 years ago, the dealer said there was nothing wrong with it, obviously. But a week after he brought it home the power steering went out. They say they have a two week warranty but gave him the whole run around and finally took it somewhere but the dealer wouldnt tell us where. We had more problems come along again within a few more weeks that they wouldnt help him with, and it wasnt drivable anymore after 8 months. And he spent over a year getting the problems fixed by himself, they wouldnt communicate with him anymore. He does love his truck now though! I dont know if it was just the specific truck or the dealership selling cars they know have problems. But This place is just shady. I know he wouldnt write a review im doing it for him. Be very cautious buying used cars!

Hello, we're sorry to hear your dad had problems with a truck he purchased from us.  Unfortunately, the invariable nature of AS-IS used vehicles is that they can be unpredictable. When buying such a vehicle, a buyer assumes a certain degree of risk. This is why we have our 14-day guarantee (as well as extended warranties for additional cost, which we offer on every vehicle we sell); to help mitigate that risk.  Sounds like we honored this guarantee and had the power steering issue fixed. We wouldn't have hidden where we're having it fixed; not sure why you're saying that.  After this guarantee expires, a buyer is responsible for the costs of any and all repairs. If by "help" you mean we were asked to cover repair costs, we would have declined to do so because a) you're outside of our 14-day guarantee, and b) all vehicles we sell are AS-IS.  If your dad bought from us, he would have signed two documents explicitly stating so; he also would have been told this verbally at signing.  We'd also like to make it clear that we WOULD NOT sell any vehicle knowing it had problems without explicitly stating what those problems are to a potential buyer.  We wouldn't have been in business here in *********** for over 30 years if we did.  We also make our vehicles available for customers who want to have their trusted mechanic perform a pre-purchase inspection.  We're again sorry that your dad's truck wasn't as reliable as he (and you) expected; selling unreliable vehicles is not our intention.  However, calling us "shady" is, in our opinion, unfair.
