I purchased a 2015 GMC Acadia Denali with **** from this dealership. They offer a full 2 week warranty, stating they would pay to fix and or replace any mechanical issues. **** stated there was shaking from the brakes, I agreed to fix this issue myself. **** stated no other issues, I purchased an extended warranty. Within 1 week the power steering went out, and saw signs of transmission issues. Car was taken to shop of my choice, found major power steering leak, cracked housing and major transmission damage, needing full replacement. Paperwork was taken to dealership and met with owner ***. *** promised to pay for any repairs on the vehicle, as I had brought it in with paperwork before 2 week dealer warranty was over. They took car afterwards and had a private mechanic with a home shop work on power steering, brought it back and still had issues, took to shop of my choice for inspection, still had leakage with proof of photos sent and **** communicated with shop while car was on lift. They stated I could take it back to them and they would fix again, I declined because they would not tell me who was working on the car, contact info, where they were or show proof of this mechanic being licensed or accredited. They chose a transmission partner shop that they work with often car was taken in 5 times, shop and dealership refused full transmission replacement as requested by extended warranty company due to amount of damage. Car was never fixed, and shop broke multiple parts in engine bay. During this **** had called and made intimidating and threatening remarks about a post he had seen in ******** and thought I had made it, he had refused to contact me or apologize since that day. The last time in shop, shop suggested new transmission. At this point shop contacted **** and **** refused to pay for this to happen. **** stated he will only pay $500. He has refused contact after multiple attempts. Emails and phone calls. I paid for full replacement of transmission.Customer response

The previous entry would not let me add more than the limited word count, I would like to note that I myself have tried several time to mediate this. If needed I can provide contact details to the bank representative, who attempted to mediate a resolution with ****. ************* certified technicians, who directly dealt with this issue, myself or them can provide receipts for the work I paid for out of pocket. There is a review on ****** of someone who has witness **** the salesman yelling and swearing at me, as well as contact info for two individuals who had come with me to get a resolution with ****, as he had threatened me on the phone prior to this and I felt extremely uncomfortable going alone. I also have videos recorded on my personal cell of conversations with ****, *** the owner, and the dealerships transmission partner T&S, I have copies of my phone logs from the month it was purchased until now, of how many times I have attempted to contact the business. As well as emails. They made a promise under their 2 week warranty, I was within that warranty, they made promises to fix the issues, but never did. It was an attempt to fix, against the recommendations of a certified GM transmission specialist, and their warranty company. The warranty company has these conversations on file where they declined multiple times to replace the full transmission, against their request. I can provide contact info and the conversation log and notes provided to me. During an in person conversation, that is recorded, I had asked **** why no issues with the transmission or power steering showed up during inspection, in the buying process he stated to myself and my father that all of their cars are inspected before going on the lot, including the one I purchased. He then stated not every car is inspected, only the ones that need it against what their business says, which is really unethical although it is a used as-is dealership. They should not advertise or verbalize that all cars are inspected when they are not. I asked how would he know what needs to be inspected, and what doesnt, and why he would say they are inspected if they arent? And he wouldnt respond to this. I can provide this as evidence as well. I have tried to do everything right in this situation to reach a solution that is fair, and to have the dealership keep their word and honor their warranty. I have received no communications with **** after many attempts.
Please let me know if you would like me to provide these.
