Horrible customer service! New website is impossible to navigate! Key words I used before they updated their website dont work now! Shipping is a nightmare!

They have texted almost twice a week for over a year and never shopped with them! Stocking me!

Some products are just cheap made in *****, some are decent, prices can be good, they will push you continuously to spend enough to be a Platinum member. I also hope that you don't have a problem and have to deal with customer service, they pride themselves on impeccable customer service, yet they are condescending, blame the customer for everything, and refuse to perform the simplest of inquiries into your issue. It's plain to see that it starts at the top with ************** and trickles down through the customer "service" department.

I'm new to this, so I'm enthusiastically adding beads, findings, etc. to have a good assortment to work with. I heard of Fire Mountain Gems through a ******* tutorial. I had been shopping on Amazon. I found the selection and pricing at Fire Mountain Gems to be such a wonderful improvement! They have so much selection and very reasonable pricing! It's easy to get to 100 items! And when I looked in my cart I realized that they had given me a quantity discount on my order when I reached 100 items! I thought that was for retailers who purchased a quantity of 100 of one item. But, it turns out that if you purchase 100 items total, you get the discounted price on every item! I have shopped a little at a time and kept adding to the cart until I'm ready to check out. I went to it several days, adding to my order before placing the order. Also, if you decide to not purchase something, you just have to remove it from your cart. It also gives you the option to add it to a list of favorites, in case you want to purchase it in the future. I think their site is very user friendly! They also offer great, free tutorial on *******! I've purchase **************** I love it because for just over $5 (with the quantity discount) you get a full pound of beads, findings, etc.! One of the reasons I love it is that I am learning, so I have found so many new findings and types of beads that I wasn't aware of. If I want a certain finding, it's usually in there. They say that 90% of the bag is usable. It's actually more. Not all of it is my taste, so I wouldn't have purchased it specifically. But, having it, I try it and am pleasantly surprised, using something I wouldn't normally have picked out. So it's broadening my taste and knowledge. I would gladly recommend Fire Mountain Gems!

Great company. They do not serm to have a system that makes up information or populates extta orders. They do save your cart which is great if you ever belonged to a site and forgot to log in before you started shopping. You log in and all prior items are gone. Your cart says "empty".. Grrr. That is infuriating. So fire mountain has a system that says "" you have multiple existing carts. Do you want to combine them"?... Uhhh yes please. The way the cart shows multiple pages when checking out may be missed if you dont pay attention but, like shopping in a store, u have to be aware of things happening. Their customer service is amazing with a lost package i had issues with and "ask the experts" is the best thing ever. When i first saw a technique i didnt know they emailed me though it and when i wantedTo know how to make crystals stronger and trust crimp beads, they shared secrets... Then they have break downs of sizes of wires, crimp, string... All that confusing mumbo-jumbo but in a way to understand. They even teach equations to come up with figures. And they send me an old fashion shopping catalog every few months which is cool for people not comfortable shopping online but my 3 yr old looks forward to seeing mommu new work magazine.. Which actually buys me a few life mins. Also appreciated. I cant say enough about this company.
