  I signed a contract on the 18th of August with Eagles Nest Remodeling with *********************** ( CCB #******) The only thing they did was remove the trim from the window in the garage and left it on the floor, and improperly installed the front window of my house. The front window to my daughters bedroom was replaced, but never installed correctly. Not putting in a sealant, and flashing of the window leaving it exposed to the outside elements as well as using interior nails. The only work completed from september 2nd to October 6th was the refurbishment of the fronts of my kitchen cabinets. (With damage caused by adjusting hinges). When they started on my kitchen remodel, they made the decision without consulting me to sand butcher block in my garage without taping off, leaving saw dust throughout the entire space and even in my Hvac system, personal items, and food storage. ***** then told me that it was my responsibility to remove the saw dust remains. The raw wood for my butcher block countertops was stained an incorrect color, avoiding the sample color that I had sent to them. ***** used a non food safe stain, that is mainly used for floors. When the countertops were installed they were supposed to have an an overhang to prevent any spills entering the cabinet drawers or front of the cabinets. ***** placed the butcher board to have absolutely no overhang and is completely flush. There is a large seam in the center of the kitchen counter connecting two pieces of butcher block. This is extremely visible to the eye, and when I asked for another professional opinion, I learned that the seam is supposed to be hidden underneath the sink. ***** told me that he wouldnt mind the seam in his house and completely avoided my concern. The entire finished butcher block countertop is extremely rough to the touch and is nowhere near any real professionals finished expectations. ***** also sanded the counter tops at the seam, causing damage from sander and huge dents.

  We stand by our reputation and finished work. We have many years of experience and many more satisfied customers that are happy with our work and come back to us for their home repair/remodeling needs. We disagree with the statements made by the complainer. The complainer dismissed us before we could complete work or make adjustments to meet her needs. Once we are dismissed (fired) from a jobsite we cannot return to make any adjustments. We also cannot continue to work at a jobsite that is disrespectful to our employees.We encourage anyone interested in our work to look at our other reviews. We can also provide a long list of satisfied customers, subcontractors and partners.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  I did not fire eagles nest. I asked for them to fix the damage or give money back. ******************* up the phone on me and wouldnt return my calls. Neither would his wife who the company name is under. Also the positive reviews the company received was only after I sent in my complaint. That is why all the positive reviews are on the same day.
