On September 17, 2021, approx 10 months ago I ordered a replacement awning for my ** with Waynes Mobile ** repair located @ ****************************************************************. I was told over & over again that parts were needed for assembly & I must wait. After continually inquiring every month, I was told that the awning finally arrived, but it was damaged during shipping. Then I was told the damaged awning was not mine & no one knew where or what happened to my awning. I then ask to cancel my ************** my $1,228.00 deposit. Waynes stated they could not do that until they found out what happened to my awning. It has been almost a year without an awning & all I ever hear from everyone is just the run around. My wife can not go outside of the ** without the awning to sit & relax because she can not be in the direct sunlight. Im so tired & frustrated with this company & just want my refund. I have found another company that guarantees a new awning in 6 weeks.Business response

You left a complaint on BBB with knowledge that you were ALREADY to receive a refund.
Also - This complaint is severely misdirected.We did not delay the manufacture of your awning.
We did not ship it, we did not damage it in shipping.
Additionally - We aren't responsible for where the money went once it has left our hands.Carefree of Colorado delayed, manufactured, mis-shipped, damaged, and holds the funds that were owed for the awning.
I have already advised you that once we receive the refund for parts ordered, you will get your money back.
You only have paid half of the cost of the awning, the remainder was paid for by us - once the funds have been returned to our account, you will be immediately notified.This complaint does not expedite your refund, as we are all aware of what you are owed and it will be processed as soon as possible.

I am rejecting this response because: I ordered my awning from Waynes & left a deposit as stated before. I do not have any control of where Waynes sends my deposit, they do. I am not responsible if Waynes uses a 3rd party to order my awning and if it was damaged or even the wrong awning. My concern is that Waynes owes me my deposit back once I cancelled the order after waiting 10 months. Waynes need to refund me now, not after another 10 months of waiting!
