After sealcoating our driveway on 5/2/22, *************************** and his crew from Black Rock Sealcoating were hired to epoxy coat the concrete surrounding our house and shop. During the initial prep on 5/9/22, they removed roofing tar that had previously been applied to several concrete cracks, but some residue remained. Next, they used a leaf blower to clean the surface saying it was too old to pressure wash and applied the primer coat. On 5/10, two coats of epoxy paint were applied to all but a section in front of the house which only got one coat. I asked for a "concrete grey" color, but Tristian applied a "primer white" saying that was all he could get. We paid $8,000.00 for materials/labor and $688.00 sales tax. We also gave him a $400.00 tip for the crew. After the crew had left, I noticed the section still in need of a 2nd coat and texted the photos to ******* along with a request to finish painting it and to provide the product and warranty information to ************. ******* returned my call on 5/16 and said they would be out to apply the 2nd coat on 5/18. No one came or called to say why. I called again on 5/27 and told ******* that epoxy paint was not sticking to the tar residue and that it had come off in places when hosed off with non-pressurized water. He said he would be here the week of 5/30 to apply the 2nd coat and to assess the epoxy coming off in places. After 3 weeks the epoxy is not sticking in places, it is stained from leaves, dirt and tires and looks awful. I have attached several pictures to illustrate my concerns.I called ******* on 6/3 and 6/4 at the number he provided me, only to hear a recording that the mailbox was full and I could not leave a message. On 6/4, I e-mailed my concerns to the address on the invoice ************************* To date, no one has returned my calls or email.
