I will be writing a one star review on every sight! WARNING PEOPLE TO NOT BUY FROM YOU GUYS!!! VERY SHADY BUSINESS! My mom bought an suv for my brother and paid full price no killer deal was given and In less than 2 months it took a complete dump he drove it less then ***** miles and it stopped running NEEDS AN ENTIRE NEW MOTOR, after She took it to the repair shop she was quoted almost 7 grand to repair!!! Yes 7 grand!!! These people never once told us anything about the car having any kind of problems whatsoever!!! My mom is now basically taking a loss on it and going to sell it for way way less then she paid for it because she cant afford to cough up that much money for a vehicle that OH YA SHE PAID IN FULL FOR AFTER SAVING FOREVER! When she called bickmore they told her they would put 1k towards the bill to the auto repair shop lol what a joke. Since the repair is so incredibly high she has decided to now sell for cheap as I mentioned and thought maybe bickmore would at the very least would just cut her the check for 1k. NOPE THEY WILL ONLY GIVE TO AUTO BODY SHOP!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ANYWHERE BUT BICKMORE!!! SERIOUSLY ANYWHERE!!!

    Bickmore Auto Sales Response

    09/05/2023

We are sorry ****** is having issues with his vehicle. There were no signs of any issues at the time of the sale, and it had been running fine for over ******* miles. ****** did tell us that he would be living out of the vehicle and were wondering if maybe he left the vehicle running for long periods of time at night with the a/c on? Or the heater on? If that was the case, it could be possible that that could have caused damage to the vehicle. ****** drove the vehicle for almost ***** miles and we do not know what happened during that time how the vehicle was driven, or under what conditions the vehicle was driven.
The vehicles are sold 100% as-is. However, we did offer several options at the time of the sale regarding 3rd party service contracts. He declined all comprehensive service contracts such as 2year, 3year, or 4 years but rather elected to buy the limited 3month or *****-mile service contract that we offer for $1.00 at the advertised sale price. The maximum coverage on that agreement is $1000.
After ****** determined there was problem with the vehicle, he took it to **********. I got a call from ****** that he was yelling, screaming, and cussing in the building and the service manager felt threatened. We know that ****** was upset, after he calmed down and we had a chance to talk to him about the options we did offer to pitch in with the repairs. We also offered to shop prices for the repairs instead of going to the Kia ****** for the repairs. A smaller shop is often more affordable. It is possible that all the repairs could be done for closer to $5000. The service contract would have paid $1000, and we agreed to pitch in $1000 as well. It sounded like he wanted to do that, and we also spoke with his mom who said she understood and appreciated our help. ******* mom also did mention that she understood the risks associated with purchasing used vehicles and she was familiar with used cars and how after the purchase they are the responsibility of the consumer. I did receive a call from ******, and he was hoping to just swing by and get cash. I mentioned that I would like to pay the shop directly once the repairs were completed. Then ******* mom texted us saying she wanted to stop by and pick up the money, and again I said that I would like to pay the shop directly. After that I received this review. So, I guess that they do not want to fix up the vehicle? We could have talked about this or if they wanted another vehicle, I could have discounted another vehicle here on the lot or done something else, but I really did not have that opportunity. We really wish ****** and his family the best of luck.
