The moisturizer kiosk in Clackamas mall scammed me with highly deceptive advertising. On May 30th, I spent $400 on some under-eye lotion. I was hesitant to spend the money, but the rep was aggressively pleasant and then promised me that the product was *** approved, dermatologist recommended and completely organic. He showed me three symbols on the side of the box that matched the *** symbol and looked legitimate, but it was honestly quite fast. I was impressed with these credentials and finally succumbed to the purchase. After I made the purchase, he continued to be weirdly aggressive. He said he had a free spa voucher for me, and convinced me to come pick it up even though I wasn't interested. Then he said I needed to wait in a room for a quick five minute consultation. I told him I didn't have time but he kept pushing and I found myself in a small spa room being pitched a $6000 red-light device. I immediately felt sick, and managed to escape. It was then that I looked at the boxes I had just bought and saw that the symbols had tiny print around them that belied what the rep had said. It is not *** approved, it was made in an *** approved facility. It is not doctor recommended, merely tested. Finally, it is certainly not organic. The symbol says "contains ORGANIC ingredients" in a misleading way, and there's plenty of regular chemicals in the ingredient list. No returns are accepted, under any circumstances. Which is interesting, because there was also supposed to be a six month guarantee. And naturally, there are numerous people on the internet making similar complaints about this company, which seems to exist under different names in malls across the country.Visa won't refund me, and they directed me to you. Please help?
