      Thursday July 18th 2024.I paid $149.50 To get my hair colored This was to cover my gray hair lighten the bottom half of my hair and get a uniform med warm brown color .My wedding is aug 3 and this was a coloring for my wedding. *********************** told me that it would not be a problem and" I would look fire for my wedding"!I started getting worried when she applied 1 color over all my hair gray/non box died hair and colored ends..My hair started looking bright red and I question her and she said it was part of the process..We get to her rinsing my hair and she starts putting all sorts of different products in my hair to help.She dryed my hair. And I looked like a clown. Bright red roots and my ends where dark red!!! I told her I was un happy and she agreed it didn't take right and it was bad..I would have to come back in to fix it but with my wedding less then 2 weeks away that would be hard.Next morning I wake up and it's so bad I didn't want to leave the house I asked for a refund to go get it fixed But she has refused, and has been, short and rude to me trying to say i was black mailing her. She didn't respond for 4 days and then when She did she refused a refund. I tried to call and talk to the manager but who ever answered would not give me her name. And just kept hanging up. I had to go spend alot of $ to try and cover up the damage but the result is very dark hair.At this point all I'm asking for is my $ back even though she caused damage to my hair

      My name is *********************** and I'm responding to the complaint filed against me. ******* came in not for a simple color/grey coverage. She had colored her hair with box color twice with such bad results that she had even used a color striper. Her hair appointment was a color correction and was scheduled as such. Her hair was completely over processed when she arrived. I had to do a test ***** due to the damage she had done herself. I did use the same color on the entire hair but I had one mixed with a higher volume. Which means it will lift it a few levels. Due to her ends being so dark I was able to make it all uniformed one color. Which I have pictures of and I will gladly attach. She claims I wouldn't respond but she was fully aware that I had a camp trip planned with my family that weekend. I unfortunately did not have cell service and did not get her messages until i got home. i was in no way trying to avoid or disrespect her. 


      i have tried my best to accommodate her even coming in on my day off to get her hair the way she wanted. It looked fine in my option it was all one color. i have before and after pictures of the service. I was met with blackmail and threats. She told me that she won't write a bad review "with pictures if needed' if I give her money back. she even went as far as to say in her exact words," I also know the owners won't want bad reviews or issues with customers, it's not good for business." She actually did write a bad review with pictures she put a filter on to make it look worse than it was. (I will attach these pictures) I wrote her multiple messages explaining to her why I did not feel her request for money back. If you would like to see the messages, I'd be more than willing to share these with you. 


      She said she went to another salon and spent 2x what she paid me. She told me that she did like the results either. It seems like no matter what effort is put in; she will not be happy. To be honest it seems like she is just trying to get something for free. Or she's trying to cover the cost of her other salon visit. Whatever the reason, I won't be refunding the money because I have proof my color was uniformed (will attach pictures) and I went out of my way to accommodate her. Reassuring her that if she wasn't satisfied, I would do whatever was necessary to make sure she was. Not to mention I have product to pay for and rent for my chair. Her dishonest ****** review should show her true malicious intent. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I will agree that i tryed to box color my hair my ***************** not take the color so that is why i went to her. She new this in advance.  She new the color was off and agreed to try and fix it but could not get me in untill the day i was soposted to leave for my wedding. I was in extream pain after being there 5 hours and the apoment ended at 8 pm  my hair was wet so her pic she has my roots all to 1side funny and took it from the side. She admitted it was bad she tried washing toners and ***** in my hair to help it. 

      The very next morning i sent a message when i woke up with my roots bright red and the ends dark. I ask for a refund. 

      Her response was it was a nice onbray this is not what i asked for. (attached) 

      I tried to talk to her for sevrel days with her becoming hostal. 

      I did end up haveing a color corection and was told i did not have any damedge i had no choise after her responce i dont trust her to fix it.  And my wedding was a week away. I am only asking for the $ i paid to her not the amount i had to pay to fix it.. 

      I allso tryed to call her place of busness to fix this and i was not told the owners name and was told she aas not in. When i called back i was hung up on.  I then did this claim hopping to talk to the owner before making any bad reviews not to black mail any one but because i was trying to give opretunity to fix this first. 

      She allso agreed to refund me and then.  Decided not to(attatched) 

      I cant attach my whole conversaation but can if needed in another way

      I went to have my grey covered and my hair highlighted. My roots were not colored eventhough I asked for them to be. None of my grey was colored. My hair was colored with a cutting board. I asked for all highlights of red and blonde there is no red at all Its just blonde. I wanted it colored for a trip. I asked for it to be fixed and done how I asked. I was rudely told I would need to pay 90$ more. Well I wasn't doing that. Then I was told that she hoped I found someone else I likes better next time. The beauty school takes a long time but my hair always turns put exactly how I wanted. I don't know how she got a license. And I do not plan to ever go near that place again. She obviously should not be taking clients like she is a professional when she clearly doesn't know what she is doing. Very unhappy.
