    I originally had 2 cars that i was paying for. I bought a car and all of a sudden there was a big jump in price from ****** to ****** every month. I was not notified by farmers insurance. I saw on my statement and i called about it. ******* said wow thats alot i will call the billing department because we weren't notified. I waited and waited no one calls. I kept calling and was told i will call you. It was going on for almost a month and a half. I stayed because i thought it was going to work out. Then farmers ***** to take out over $1200. ******* said he tried calling me last week because he just came back from being sick. He told me i was responsible. I told him now you tell me after the fact when i would have canceled my policy.I feel i should not be responsible due to not informing me earlier when i called.

    Mathew and everyone in his office have failed to communicate accurate information before pushing forward my policy. I had thought that I wanted to get homeowners insurance through Farmers and Mathew reached out. He gave me a basic understanding of what would need to be done in order to obtain insurance through Farmers. He said an agent would have to come out and take pictures of the house and the condition and write up a policy based on that. Someone came out and took pictures and the report came back stating that there was debris that needed to be cleaned up (there was a washer that was removed from inside the week before and we needed to get it taken to the dump but were waiting on a truck rental as well as a wood pile they said couldn't be there). When I asked about what needed to be done, I got no information, they said they couldn't tell me what needed to be done to approve it but do your best. I asked many times if the wood pile needed to be moved, if it couldn't be on the property, or what exactly they needed done to get approved and over and over again I heard nothing. Eventually Mathew said that they would approve it without us changing anything but that our deductible would go up automatically to $10,000 just because they had to take pictures twice. Our agent failed to relay any of this information and passed me off to one of his minions that attempted to find insurance through another agency and after a week just stopped responding. I was under the impression that I wouldn't have this insurance because I was misinformed multiple times about the policy changes. He sent my bill to collections and refused to address the issue. Never have I had such poor service.

    Hello ******,

    My licensed producers worked with you and your lender to quote and bind this policy in March. After your home failed inspection in April, our office made numerous attempts to contact you via telephone and email. On multiple occasions when I personally called, you said you were traveling, too busy to talk and seemed irritated that I even reached out. We were very specific on what needed to be cleaned and fixed, the timeframe we had to work with, the new deductible, and provided you the pictures that our inspector took on their 1st and only trip to your home. We even requested an extension from the company for these things. Unfortunately, by the time you finally responded in May, it was too late. Your policy had been set to cancel and there was an amount due for the time you were insured. My producers continued to help you find a resolution, including looking for another company to provide similar coverage with a lower deductible. They said it was difficult to work with you because you would argue, ****, and swear at them. I tell my employees that under no circumstances are they required to work with someone who is verbally abusive. Our last conversation went along the same lines with me having to tell you that I will not stay on the phone with someone yelling and swearing at me. You also told the company that you never requested this policy and I submitted it without your knowledge, yet we have emails from you and your lender approving this transaction, as well as signed applications from you accepting the policy. Following our last interaction on the phone and the things you said to me, I informed the company that I will not work with you anymore, and any further interaction needs to be directly with the company not my agency.
