      I started a membership with the Happy Valley location and was told at the time that they were running a special, that if I signed up and did not want to continue the service that I could cancel within 30 days, I emailed and requested a cancellation on exactly 30 days. I was then told that in the fine print of the contract I signed that I was supposed to let them know 4 days before 30 days. How was I suppose to know this? Does everyone read the fine print of a contract they sign? This company could have said in good faith, yes we can cancel for you as we see you have given us notice within the 30 days. Now I am being charged for 3 months at $99.00 a month. Companies like this need to be put out of business, it is not right!

      To whom this may concern,

      ***************** joined as member on 3/11/23. She signed our 30 day Guarantee program which states the member is allowed to cancel before her 2nd bill date if the requirements were met (See attachments).

       

      Clients 2nd bill date was on 4/11/23, and she emailed that day to cancel her membership. Unfortunately, per our 30 day guarantee program, I cannot cancel the membership if she didn't give me proper notice or meet the requirements. Clients have to give me 5 day notice before their 2nd bill date (which the program states that she signed) and she has to meet the requirements stated that she agreed upon. Unfortunately, the client did not meet the requirements that needed to be met in order to cancel her membership.

       

      Since she did not meet the 30 day guarantee requirements, she is now locked in our store membership policies (I've attached the membership agreement that she signed which states she is required a 3 month minimum before any changes to her account). 

       

      I can cancel clients membership after the 5/11/23 bill date, which I did. And I kindly extended her services as well. I've attached a few screen shots of our email conversation for your records as well.

      8/27/22 walked into restore to to buy a session of red light therapy for me and my husband and cryotherapy sessions, very quickly thinking salesman , says well it would be better to get a package deal , we were charge $792.00then $99.00and $ ****** they were very quick with words and signing before you know it we are each locked in for three months . We called them back with in 3 business days on 31st aug ,said we felt rushed , a financial emergency came up we need to cancel . Plus after using their services I threw up when I got home .The manager took 2 days to get back to us said we can not offer any refund .We have not used any of our sessions yet . Nor are they returning our multiple messages , asking for them to show us where it says no refunds! Why they never told us this in person .

      *************************** is not a member here at *********** nor has this person ever done services at our location. I have attached screenshots of our Mindbody CRM for your reference which show that she has never been to this location, utilized any services here, or made any purchases including a membership from Restore Hyper Wellness ***********. Furthermore there has been no prior contact with this individual here as mentioned in the above complaint. It is my understanding that this complaint was filed against the wrong business.
