I was referred to this place by my primary care doctor. It took three months and multiple telephone calls to make my appointment. I was told that imaging had to be received before an appointment could be made. Finally, after three months, I received a telephone call and told that imaging had been received and that an appointment could be made so I made one for 1/13/23. I show up to the appointment only to discover that I was scheduled to see the wrong type of doctor, and that this doctor was unprepared for my appointment. Additionally, no imaging was on hand or had been received. I was told that I would have to make a follow up appointment to see the correct doctor and that imaging would have to be received. Now, this place is charging me $571.00 for this appointment that they made for me with the wrong doctor and no imaging. Not only a complete waste of time and effort, but unethical and outrageous in my opinion.Business response

We pride ourselves on providing excellent and responsive care to all of our patients. Unfortunately, access to imaging or other information from treating providers is sometimes delayed. Although this was out of our control, we still feel badly and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused the patient. In light of the complaint, we conducted a thorough review and determined that RestorePDX did not bill the patient for the visit. Although the patient received an insurance explanation of benefits form that form was not approved by the insurance carrier and the patient was not billed for any balance. We called and left messages for the patient to explain that there was a misunderstanding about the bill, but have not heard back from the patient. We would be happy to discuss this matter with the patient and rectify any misunderstanding.Customer response
