This company came out in February 2022 to give a quote for a new furnace.He was (owner Cy ) knowledgeable and was a recommendation from a friend. We gave him $3,200. for a new furnace and an air conditioner. He said that due to the pandemic it would take awhile to get the furnace. We did not hear from him until my husband called in May and he said he was still waiting. Since that time we have called, texted, and emailed with no response. We no longer even want this services but a total refund of our money.He is licensed, bonded, and insured. CCB ****** I will submit the contract.Thank you.Initial Complaint

On 06/30/21 we paid a deposit in the amount of $3,565 to ***************** with True Temp Heating & A/C, LLC to replace our heating and cooling unit. Equipment was for a 3ton package system, 3ton air handler, 3ton 15 seer heat pump total cost $7130. He was scheduled to install the unit on 07/09/21. He showed up saying he was unable to get the unit from the warehouse and would need to reschedule when the unit was available. I sent him a follow-up message on 08/02/21 where he responded that he was on vacation. I followed up again on 10/08/21 where I was told he would have the unit in the next 3 weeks. I followed up again on 11/29/21 where he replied that he had part of the unit but not all of it. I sent him another message on 01/28/22 and 02/17/22 asking for our money back. He replied on 02/17/22 that he was working with the warehouse for our refund. Contacted him again on 02/28/22 asking about the refund, his reply was he would have the funds shortly. Contacted him again after our heating unit completely stopped working on 04/12/22 and 04/21/22 with no reply. On 12/02/21 we decided to ask another company for an estimate which was $13,858, however we needed our money back from True Temp for a deposit. When it became clear we were not getting the funds any time soon, we decide that we were going to have to finance the cost instead of pay cash. We contact the other company again asking them to do the install on 03/16/22. They could not honor the first estimate they gave us, and the cost has increased to $19,597.
