Stayed with this hotel on 8/28/2021 after a wedding. Woke up constantly through the night itching in new spots got maybe 20 minutes total sleep. I woke my husband at around 6 am and asked him to leave because I was being bit by something. My husband lifted my shirt to bites all over my back and found bed bugs. Took a photo of bites and of the bed bugs. Contacted the owner and they told me there was no bed bugs and that we should have asked for a different room instead of leaving. I told them we had a photo of the bed bugs and they then told me there wasnt any and refused to continue talking about it. Owner was rude. Rooms were disgusting and looked like they werent even cleaned other than making beds overall it was a terrible experience. I am still covered in bites and uncontrollably itchy so I have to take oatmeal baths to calm my skin.Business response

Hello,
This woman has complained about bed bugs but never told us during her stay nor did she mention anything when she checked out. We would have assisted her had she told us. Furthermore, when she checked out, we went to see the bed bugs she was describing and found no bed bugs in the room or the bed. We even rented the same room after that incident and the next customer did not complain about any issues she was mentioning. She is asking for a full refund despite not mentioning her issues during her stay. We can offer her a 10% refund back to her payment method.

I am rejecting this response because: I clearly provided photo proof of bed bugs and this business is still not taking responsibility of it.
