    We were told lies to sell us the panels, they forced us to trim a tree and told us they would maintain the tree. Every time we called they said they would run an audit and told us they were producing like they should to just give them time. We have asked them to come to our house several times to physically see what is wrong but we just got the run around.we only have a reduced electric bills a couple months through the year. Also in the winter the snow is on the panels and we are unable to go on roof to clear panelI do not recommend their service to anyone.we called the bank who gave us the loan and they were not much help either.

    Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize that your experience has not met your expectations. Regarding the tree trimming, we would like to clarify that maintaining the area around your system is generally the responsibility of the homeowner.
    We do understand that it took longer than expected for the audit to be completed, and we sincerely apologize for the delay. We recognize that you were eager to receive this information sooner, and we appreciate your patience with us during that time. 
    As a reminder, your system is designed to produce a certain number of kilowatt-hours (kWh) annually. If your usage exceeds that amount, you will be charged by the utility company for the additional consumption. I noticed that your ticket is still open, and we are happy to go over the details of the audit with you in more depth. Our customer service team will be in touch shortly to assist with any further questions you may have.
    In addition, while we do not have a solution for snow accumulation on the panels, we have recommended a product called the "Avalanche SnowRake AVA500," which is available on ****** to our other customers. Many of our customers have found it effective, although its suitability depends on your homes unique characteristics.

    I had solar panels installed by Purelight Power in June 2024, and unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing. During the installation, they severely damaged my carport roof beyond repair. It took months of back-and-forth before they finally replaced the roof, causing unnecessary stress and ********* make matters worse, ever since the roof replacement, my solar panels have not been reinstalled, meaning I have been paying my GoodLeap load on with while receiving minimal solar benefits. Despite multiple scheduled appointments for reinstallation, Purelight Power continues to reschedule and delay. Canceling appointments same day! Their lack of urgency and poor communication have left me frustrated and regretting my decision to go with this company.If you're considering solar, I strongly recommend researching other companies that prioritize customer service and accountability. I would not recommend Pure light Power based on my experience.

    Hi ******. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced. As of December 17th, the reroofing work was completed. We had initially scheduled your reinstall for the solar on February 13th; however, due to a recent staffing change in your area, we regrettably had to reschedule your appointment. Your new service dates are now set for March 12th-13th, and we communicated this update to you on February 11th, 2025.

    We understand that this delay has caused frustration, and we are committed to exploring reimbursement options once the work has been fully completed. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at ************.

    Feb 19, 2025-***Thank you for your response, but I want to clarify the ************ carport had been leaking for nearly six months, and I had to repeatedly call or text to get someone to address it. In December, I was told by your staff member Autumn, that I couldn't get my panels reinstalled until January, and that Purelight would contact me to schedule. That call never came. I reached back out in January and the earliest available was February 11. Then on the day of my re-installation appointment, I was informed that the technician was no longer with the company.Purelight had ample time to reschedule me, yet I was not contacted. I expect my system to be completed as promised, and once the work is done, I will be pursuing reimbursement for the delays and inconvenience.

    I would avoid this company if you are shopping around for Solar.I had my panels installed October of 2023 and everything up until that point had gone smooth and felt like the communication went great.Then in June of 2024 I noticed on the app that one of my panels wasnt working so I reached out to their customer service team, I was told someone would follow up with me about scheduling a repair. Two weeks went by and I hadnt heard anything so I reached out again, they said they were extremely short staffed and werent sure when they could even put me on the schedule but they would call back end of July/August.I didnt hear from them by mid August so I called again and they said they could tentatively put me on the schedule for November, but made sure to let me know that I would be reimbursed for all the lost production over those 5 months.They finally did get it fixed in November but now they have gone back on their promise to reimburse for all of the lost production for those months because my system still performed up to 90% of what they promised it would. Even though it would have produced more without a down panel for 5 of the sunniest months of the year and it is not what was originally communicated to **** have been very patient up until this point but I can no longer recommend this company to anyone. Every interaction Ive had with them post install has felt like Im dealing with a company ready to go out of business any day now.

Regarding the reimbursement, our production guarantee ensures 90% of the expected output, and after conducting an audit for the affected months, we found that your system actually overproduced at 112%, which is why we were unable to provide a reimbursement. Had the performance fallen below the 90% threshold, we would have absolutely reimbursed for the difference. We acknowledge that weve been short-staffed and have had a backlog, but we are working hard to improve our turnaround times and customer service moving forward. Thank you for your understanding.

    Is there anything lower than one star.This is a bait and switch operation, first they tell you the electrical company will pay you for over production. Lie The federal tax return will be a check for 30% and you will get a check. Lie The panels were supposed to clean themselves of snow and ice. Lie There will only be one payment to purelight power. Lie Finally they are going to maintain these panels and make sure they operate correctly. Why would they do that, but they said they would, my guess is they are never show.

While some snow may slide off naturally, it's not recommended to rely on the panels to remove it, as this could affect performance during winter months. The information you received about this is incorrect.

    Payment Structure and Usage: Your payment to the lender is separate from your utility bill. If you're paying more than what youre being charged for solar through your utility, this suggests that your energy consumption might be exceeding the production capacity of your solar system. In that case, you may be using more electricity than the system can generate, which could lead to higher utility charges.

    Comment 1, Your people are selling this idea that if you buy this system the electric company will pay you. Bait and switch.Comment 2, Your people are stating you will be getting a 11 plus thousand dollar tax refund to apply to the Loan with the Goodleap your lending firm, its even in the contract stating this.Comment 3, Of course the preformance will be affected if snowis on the panel and it was pointout by your installers.Comment 4, there is 2 charges when your people said there was only going to be 1 Nothing that was explained here is more then bait switch

    From the first meeting with ****, the process was well explained and implemented very well. Pure light kept me informed on every aspect from the initial sale, installation, inspection, power up and monitoring application install.     Absolutely the worst sales experience weve ever encountered, i truly dont even think a cars salesman is THIS bad. we were approached at our front doorstep to learn more about solar, we obliged and thought it was a good idea to just set up the 15 minute free quote to understand solar and if it would be a good fit for us. CLEARLY THIS WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE WE MADE!!! the guy proceeded to show up a hour late, okay not a big deal. He then took this 15 minute appointment and turned it into 2 unnecessary hours of our lives. He proceeded to heckle my parents into a 25 year loan. yes you heard that correctly. A 25 YEAR LOAN. this solar system was quoted at a mere $40,000. (like anyone has this money laying around right?). My parents were kind and understanding, even with this insane amount of money this man tried to scam out of them, and as he proceeded to have the largest attitude known to man he continues to ask you have 2 options, either you say yes or no That should speak for itself. He also continued to say he was missing a christmas party to be able to show this solar plan to make them feel guilty and sign a contract. My parents wanted a written quote to be able to go over if this is even a good deal for what is being offered, and he refuses to send a written quote whatsoever. He refused to give any information backing up his clear lies. My parents politely declined since they were not ready to sign any contracts or have any affiliation with this clearly pushy guy with intentions of only making commission from us, not even seeing us as human beings. He then proceeded to SLAM his computer and slam the front door on his way out. This company doesnt care, they just want your money. if i could give this company -10 stars i wish i could. I honestly hope no one is fooled by their clear antics and stays clear of this company. They clearly dont know what their talking about and dont even back themselves up with simple information. Please dont contact them.
