- Date of transaction: Both May 1st ($1,801.05) for tub overflow fix and May 8th ($3,344.55) for sliding door installment, and drywall and ceiling repair.- The amount of money you paid: Total of $5145.60 - What the business committed to provide you 1)Ceiling repair in the kitchen area 2)Installment of sliding door and fix the drywall around the area 3)Bathtub overflow drain repair - What the nature of the dispute is Initially fixed the ceiling and the sliding door installment after FULL PAYMENT is done. I paid full amount at the time of estimate approval as a token of my trust and good business with them. Right after getting the job done by the business, then 3 issues showed up.1)Ceiling texture is NOT the same as the other part of ceiling, so it stands out too much showing that fixed area is fixed (which it was NOT intended to be left like that)2)Surrounding floor where they installed the sliding door started having creaking sound which is very loud when walking by. 3)Right at the bottom part of the floor there is a chipped floor part that they did NOT fix when they installed the sliding door even though it was obviously exposed which they had noticed during the door installment. Informed all the issues happened after they did the job back in at the end of May. No response or any effort to resolve the issue for 1 month. Then I contact them personally to ask, then no response for another 1 month, then finally messaged me out of nowhere at the end of July saying that they will come by. THEN NO RESPONSE OR ANY EFFORT AT ALL AGAIN WITHOUT NOTIFYING US. I just sent another message yesterday (09/07) and no response at all again. They just say that will stop by and fix the issue, but it has been few months passed since they said it. They are just ignoring the issue and misleading the customer since they already received the money that they need from us. - Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem NO. Customer was contacted on September 19th and visited on the 22nd to address complaints. There was never mal intent in not returning to discuss issues from customer. We book out 4 months in advance and were not able to make a visit sooner between jobs and health issue. Base of door was left exposed due to poor craftsmenship by builder/original installer and customer not having extra carpet to patch. We covered hole with trim and show moulding to customers satisfaction. Ceiling texture was smaller than someone else's previous attempt from water leak and original surrounding texture, so this was redone to a happy medium between the two and blends much better. Squeak in subfloor was adressed by s******* down subfloor around squeak location. This issue is coincidental but not related to work performed as we simply replaced a pocket door and had no reason to touch subfloor which remained covered. Customer explains squeak will occur when walking into bedroom 15' from where our work was performed. After verifying squeak was gone, customer sent message a week later saying the squeak "came back", so in good faith and attempt to leave customer happy, we will be returning again to pull their carpet and s**** off subfloor in attempt to make it go away.
