      Date of transaction: 1/31/2024 Amount: $5000 Services: I was seeking services for water birth for our third ****** We had initial conultations and Andaluz required us put down a $5000 deposit for child birth. I ended up having complications with the pregnancy and did not end up giving birth with this provider, instead giving birth in a hospital on 3/2/2024. In the weeks that followed my husband and I reached out to Andaluz to inquire as to the status of the refund. They stated it would take 60 to 90 days to provide a refund due to the billing system they have and the backlog. Although this seemed a bit excessive we were understanding regarding the billing of insurance for the appointments I had with a care provider there 2/12/24, 2/21/24 and 2/23/24. Andaluz billed our insurance and all claims were approved and paid by 4/2/2024. We were expecting there to be resolution of this and refund of our deposit within the stated timeframe however there was not. My husband followed up monthly to confirm status in which they continued to state refund was pending and we would see it soon. They also indicated that refund would come in form of physical check in the mail which we though was odd given we had paid with our credit card. Both my husband and I reached out to Andaluz and spoke with the billing department as of 8/1/2024, no refund had been issued and it was still pending approval. This was 4 months after they had already closed all claims with our insurance company and 183 days since we had paid the $5000 deposit. I have attached invoice of our payment to this provider. Additional health records can be provided if needed. We are seeking full refund of our deposit. In the event we can not get refund in timely manner, we may seek further legal action.
